I loved the different endings although the cemetery one is a bit short and also only reflect one of the character's reaction in a distant future. I hoped for a more dire scene, more character and possibly an immidiate follow up, with the current scene after it. Anyway good job with the game.

Unlike Harem Hotel, which has an open exploration and stat based gameplay, Once In a Lifetime is a more linear story, but it does include choices that affects the outcome and affection of each girl.
Once In a Lifetime does have a pretty good plot with lots of comedy, which I love, a slight bit of horror in it and some drama, and we can't forget the romance and NSFW moments, of course!
Also, unlike many Honey Select VNs out there which are mostly work in progress, Once In A Lifetime is one of the very few VNs that are actually fully complete. Hours of story to enjoy and there's no need to wait months for next patch!
If you like Harem Hotel, I'd say this one is definitely a recommendation!

Well, my bf recommended this game to me (also eternum, but I haven't tried it) and honestly I didn't have any hopes for it. I was surprised that it is a good and entertaining game. Although the ending is predictable, it doesn't take away the fact that it's a good game.

The story, while not particularly unpredictable is super enjoyable and fun. There is an outstanding pace between silly and serious that makes sure that neither aspect of the game gets old or tiring.
The choices that are made, while important, don't feel so heavy to the point where you're almost too anxious to make a choice. And the inclusion of the walkthrough is very much appreciated. I hope there will be a complete walkthrough for Eternum as well.
My only real complaint is that I found the MC to be a bit creepy looking to the point where I needed a bit of time to get used to his looks.
Aside from that, I loved every bit of the game to the point that I completed in in a few days. Excellent work all around. 50/10

I really enjoyed the background interactions that nobody else seems to comment on. My favorite would be either the random guy breaking his spine at the public pool or maybe post-amnesia spray Tom choking out a guy who insulted you and dragging him into the bushes.
Also, bug alert: When checking the gallery, sometimes the "return" button will play a scene instead seemingly at random. Which isn't that big a deal... except there is no way to exit the scene and it can also play scenes the player hasn't unlocked yet. I went to the gallery shortly after the second visit to teachers house where she's blindfolded to try and see what the option I didn't pick would do, and when leaving I was forced into a scene with Carla in a bath in Japan (before i knew i would go to Japan) and then into a 3-some scene with Aiko (who I hadn't even met yet) and Lauren. Spoiler'd some future events for me.

Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing game! I loved that Eternum reference near the end. Interesting that they mentioned "gameplay footage" though, considering that's not possible... retcons are fun.
I digress, what an amazing story overall! Definitely one of the best porn games out there in terms of story (mystery, thriller, horror, comedy) and characters (actual relationships, sensible choices, etc.), and just in general (comedy, directing, music & sound design, animation, etc.).
The endings were awesome! I just wish there was one more intimate scene with everybody (altogether as well as respectively with the chosen girl) at the very end. The final confrontation felt a little bit anticlimactic, I wish we would've seen and possibly fight that demon creature in the doors vision, and that the Grimoire choosing the MC was more fleshed out, but great ending either way.
