Amazing VN! I loved every second of playing it! i laught so much at some points, i rarely did that before in any game! 5 out of 5 Stars, just like Hiromi, you getting an amazing Review! I will defenatly download Eternum. Keep up the good work! <3 much love <3
Hi Caribdis, fantastic work on both this game and Eternum! Others have said it before, but the plot really has some legs in both games, kept me intrigued the whole way through. There's some seriously funny moments in them too, I couldn't stop laughing at one point in Eternum! But most of all I love how heartwarming it is, you have yourself a new fan.
I especially loved the theme music in the main menu of this game, what's the song? Cheers :)
I really hope there will be a part 2 of this game or a continue or something i really enjoyed playing this game and i hope eternum will be as good as this game
Hey, I messed up when taking the Grimoire and haven't save at this moment. Is there a way for me to come back? I'm at the wedding and would like to keep Rebecca's path (not very cool that the game says we're still following her path until then imo)
I really enjoy the game so far without following the walkthrough but I messed up here :(
You know its me again, I'm replaying the game and I realized in version 1.0 you are a fan of Cole Porter. Love to meet others that share my passion. Love your games so far. Super excited for 0.3 of Eternum as well. Keep it up dude!
For everyone who wants to download the game but can't. You'll have better lucky going to an "alternative" game downloading site. Just be very careful and not get malware. I was able to find a good copy, so they exist. Unfortunately, for obvious reasons I cannot share where I went.
I was one minute away from coming back to pay $20 for the game. Halfway through the game I wanted to pay $10. By the public bath segment in Japan, I wanted to pay $20. I thought I finish the game first. There I was, in the plane, having defeated the big bad in almost exactly the way I envisioned, and suddenly I was forced to choose one girl. I can appreciate that the harem ending is like an Easter egg ending, and I wasn't looking for that. But why the hell was it that I could not choose either to stay with the girls in England (even though I was more powerful than the big bad going up against an organization that already had its back broken, by me without powers) or at least leave by myself? Being forced to pick one when I loved at least two girls equally left a bad taste in my mouth.
I need some time to reflect. This is such a great game. Well deserving its high rating. It's almost a shame the adult content prevents all the humor, the pop culture references, the creative segments, and the trivia from being enjoyed by a bigger audience.
[I decided to pay $15 now and save $5 for Eternum. I was reminded of Mass Effect 3's ending. However controversial it was, it did not take away from the brilliance of the trilogy. I was also reminded of that pompous ass Ken Levine and his ridiculous "Would you kindly." One freedom retained by all players of all video games is to reject all choices offered and stop playing. Coming in the middle of a game, you end up not having a game. Coming at the end, though, I feel like I am making my own ending, better than the token ending Caribdis made for the individual girls. In a way, that is Caribdis' final stroke of genius.
Besides, I grew up on that song playing in the men's public bath. I never thought it could fit so well into a video game.
Best of luck on Eternum, Cribdis. Show us Once in a Lifetime isn't a once in a lifetime.]
I know people have heaped praise on this game, but I literally made this account just to add more.
Every character is amazing, and not just the girls. I don't think I've enjoyed male characters like Stabby Mike, Jack, Tom, and Oliver in even non-H games.
The story is absolutely amazing, I was finding myself playing through it just to see how it developed. All of the choices mattered, and I found myself remembering something I did much earlier in the game coming back to help/hurt me on various routes way past where most other creators would have forgotten.
There's not that many scenes with sound or music, but when they exist it's always 100% appropriate and it really makes me feel like this game was made with love down to the most minute details.
The porn scenes are also incredible, many others with physical models are simply unable to replicate the animation quality in all respects that this game manages to pull off. And there's easily dozens of these truly incredible scenes along with many more that are simpler, albeit still amazing in their own right.
The ending I got following a guide legitimately made me tear up a little bit, it was genuinely impactful and it felt like an amazing, beautiful, and truly well written closing to the best visual novel type games I have ever played.
Caribdis, if I ever manage to come into a million dollars I'll make sure to send you enough to express how I feel in a way that words currently fail me.
Since there’s the harem tag, I’m guessing there’s a ending where you’re on good terms with all the girls, or do inventively have to give one or most of them up further in?
just use the walkthrough? it gives you a guide for every choice you make in the game, i read through it and from what i'm aware you can keep every relationship in the game though towards the end of it you do say some final goodbyes(but its the end of the game so it doesn't really matter
the harem ending is achieved by recruiting stabby mike for the final battle, you must not take astaroth's hand in the apothecary and you must not have grabbed the grimoire magnus in magnus mansion(though there is a secret ending if you don't complete any path and basically just choose every wrong answer)
The best game of this genre of all time. It's actually a game where your choice will have an effect in some way or another. And where one choice can either trigger the bad ending or the good ending. That level of writing is just..unheard off in this genre. The story is superb. The art was impressive and to top it all off..the jokes and humor was top notch. By god the memes were the best.
Now I shall eagerly await eternum. But OUAT is just the pinnacle of what games of this genre should be
i have to agree, caribdis is a very talented writer (and i assume artist) in this genre where most games you see have basic story lines and struggle to interest the reader but caribdis in both their games doesn't have that problem, it doesn't take long for you to read and immediately become interested in the story line of the game and its characters as all of it was written expertly.
Hey Caribdis, next time I go to Japan can you please hook me up with Hiromi? I'd very much like the full guide experience, if you know my drill xDDD omg that part made me laugh so so so much xD
Overall, I was pretty sad to finish the game because it was so well done that I was hoping it was just going to continue. That being said, this was worth so much more than what was paid for it. I loved the "tropes" of each character - and you can tell the creator took a lot of personality traits from anime and used those to help create personalities. The game is surprisingly hilarious at times. I played this after actually trying Caribdis' other game in development Eternum (which is also excellent in its early stages). Would recommend, and give a 5/5.
You can tell the creator isnt doing this for money. There's definitely a lot of passion put into how the game works and how the characters develop.
I won't repeat what others said. I feel like every MUCH deserved praise has been offered to you, and I simply agree with them all... this game is amazing in the truest sense, FAR beyond the point it portrays itself to be at.
I actually *started* with Eternum, and just couldn't wait for future updates so I checked and THANKFULLY there's another, finished, masterpiece by you.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciated seeing names of brands, movies, and so on straight out of reality with no name distortions. It always drives me insane when authors do that because of copyrights and until now I didn't know just how much I needed this.
Although... this puts you in a bind since it means monetization is off the table if you don't want trouble. I'm currently heading over to your Patreon page, but honestly, after playing this game as an introduction to your quality of game design, I'd easily fork over 60$ for another.
Also, just because I can't seem to find it in 2 years' worth of comment history, the name of the tension music is Conspiracy Theory Music - Demise of A Nation, by Secession Studios
I've played hunders of games like this but I've got to say this is One of the very few that really take the cake. At First i thought i was just in for some fun ;) but the more I played the more hooked I got i loved the story the mechanics were great and the scenes were a blast. So I must say well fucking done cant wait to try the other game.
I just finished playing this game, and honestly it's one of the best games I've played in a while, I can't wait to play the completed version of Eternum!
That... Feels like a bit of an odd choice. Traditionally, something like 1.x would be reserved for a finished product rather than one still in development. Why do it this way, if you don't mind me asking?
Well this is awkward, I was looking at a different one when I sent that. Sorry, I've played so many unfinished ones my brain mixed this one up. Sorry again!
Great game. Played it. Loved it. Forced my wife to play it. Think ahe loves it more than me now. Could hear her giggling from down the hall. Was almost creepy. Keep up the great work. Also love eternum.
Well I must say it, Caribdis I created this acount just to send this comment, I truly thank you for this game, I literally cried my eyes out with the final, I dont know if u gonna read this but I just wanted to thank you for make such a masterpiece, Its perfect and know im gonna see how this Eternum is, a honest thank you, from a truly fan
Hi I followed a guide for my second play through on my first Lost Rebecca at her wedding but when I followed a guide it still failed at the end I have no clue how I lost it

The song is Mysteries- Dan LeBowitz
I really hope there will be a part 2 of this game or a continue or something i really enjoyed playing this game and i hope eternum will be as good as this game
will you fix the download links? cuz none of them work for me, since its too big for mega
Google drive doesn't work either?
I just tried it and it works fine for me.
You can try this if you want, but the download speed is slow https://anonfiles.com/Hbe7g224u3
I LOVED the whole story and will be downloading eternum as well. Also loved all the anime references
Thanks!

Thanks in advance!
I'm afraid not, sorry. Try loading your closest save and skip holding Ctrl
It turned out that Stabby Mike is the true heroine 😂😂😂
He always was haha
I loved this game and how the story played, i hope eternum has longer story than this game
It'll be longer, yes
Google Drive works fine for me, and GoFile.com seems to be down
Idk, you can try this other link if you want. https://anonfiles.com/Hbe7g224u3
The download speed is very low, but I'm running out of hile host sites
Question! Are there any scenes with a femboy or twink? Or a Gloryhole scene?
No, sorry 🙏
kinda difficult to get carla's scene
just asking but are you fully finished with this game?
For now, yes
You know its me again, I'm replaying the game and I realized in version 1.0 you are a fan of Cole Porter. Love to meet others that share my passion. Love your games so far. Super excited for 0.3 of Eternum as well. Keep it up dude!

I appreciate the support a lot
Hi! Can you fix the download links?
Only the MEGA option is working, and it can be a pain downloading through there :( Looking forward to it!
I cant get the game to install. its saying its hosted on a third party site that is not compatible. Can anyone help me?
The game can't be hosted on itch.io because the filesize is too big
oohhh okay!! thank you!!

Thank you very much for your comment, r3 💗
Stabby Mike is the greatest character in any video game.
why is pregnancy in the game it barley adds anything?
Thank you for the best game Caribdis
Congrats you make me crying first time ever with a games
Love and Thank you❤️
Thank you for playing!
This is a great game i enjoyed it it was fun.!!! but i wanna know how do you win the show contest!?
There's a walkthrough attached will all the correct options
It doesn't
does it have cheats
If it doesn't have cheats i don't want it UwU
I rarely comment on things..
How do you keep Rebeccas path going when you reach the weeding
Don't take the Grimoire at the mansion and the priest will help you
Download the walkthrough for more info
Don't take the Grimoire, talk to the priest for sure, then the others and set the piano to play Evangelion I believe.

Hahaha there's not a better guide
Seconded, Japan was also one of my highlights with the game. Especially meeting one of his "connections" xD

It'll take a few years, so it's probably worth to give it a go earlier than that :P
The android download link seems to be for the 0.10 version rather than for 1.0
It was originally called "0.10", but I changed it later
So don't worry, it's the same version
That... Feels like a bit of an odd choice. Traditionally, something like 1.x would be reserved for a finished product rather than one still in development. Why do it this way, if you don't mind me asking?
