Is this game finished or am i missing the complete game. I love both this game and eternium. The last version  I played from itch.io felt incomplete and I am loving the story. Let me know where I can get the latest  of once in a life time. I'll pay for it too just like I do for eternium. You make great games and I want to play them to completion

This is one of those things that I have trouble with starting to write a review for, but usually the words come flowing as soon as I convince myself to do it anyways. I'd say I'm a very grounded person, but some stories just captivate me to a point that's spooky to me.
I'll keep it short just this time, since this game demonstrates how valuable your time is :D

The characters are loveable, plot catchy, sound fitting, scenes amazing. Everything seems to be so well tuned without appearing pretentious. Never thought I'd say it, but "humor is placed perfectly". Most of all, this piece of art inspired me. If I ever find the time and passion to create something literary, I now know where the bar is.

i played this game a looooong time ago ,than found eternum and after like a year of cycling through games with limited time i have i came back to it and finally finished it . Loved the humor,the story the scenes even after playing eternum first this game is awesome next month ill finally become a patreon.sorry for bad english and even worse grammar hope yall have a great night/day    + what's the name of the song at the end with the harem ending?

The Story in this game was tiers above most adult visual novels, the animation was all smooth and nicely done, and the harem ending gave me a heart boner. 10/10, time to check out Eternum.

Also loved all the scenes with the other characters doing stuff in the background. (Did Tom kill that kid in the bushes?)

So I put off getting this game as I'm not to being on horror adult games. Kinda always kills the mood to play to be honest. But I decided to give it a chance after trying eternum. And I was surprised. The game is really good. I've gotten the harem ending with all the girls and I enjoyed every second of the story. Yes some of the more horror points of the game made me need to take a second. But ultimately I enjoyed the game very much. And I can't wait to see the finished eternum if I can expect the same quality, if not better, then what was done in this game.

Loved Eternum a damn lot, been putting this game on hold for a while but finally getting to it.

Only problem is I can't open it. Whether I download it from Mega or Mediafire, I always get the same error message upon clicking on the .exe :

D:\\games\\Onceinalifetime-1.0.0-pc\lib\windows-i686\Onceinalifetime.exe : Could not open D:\games\Onceinalifetime-1.0.0-pc\Onceinalifetime.py.

Any idea how to fix this ?

Caribdis you are a legend, Ive played eternum before I played this and It gave me goosebumps when I found out this is a prequel from the eternum series, I have no luck with Judie and Carla tho but I was definitely in loved with Lauren such a great game! I hope there is a gallery like in Eternum to.. as for Eternum I cant wait till you finish the whole game!!

I created an account just to say that this game is a masterpiece. An utter masterpiece. Mans almost had me in tears when a certain character... <spoiler>.

If there was one feature I wish was there, it's a girl gallery from the main menu, but otherwise, this game is perfect.

Caribdis mate... gratz! You are the only creator I found so far with such good taste and humor.

I'm gonna play Eternum next but I hope you release some sequence to Once in a lifetime where we all live somewhere tropical and fck like bunnies ^^

(PS I lost some girls due to my poor choices and had to play it twice and I still dont have the youngest girl's unlocks. If you still tweak this game, consider giving another fork on the road to keep her for the next players who try it. I think I lost her at the pool "hair choice" which was way too early)

Hi! I'm really enjoying this game, I'm nearing the end of it I think. I'm looking forward to playing Eternum next. I did come across a few (not many at all!) typos or other small language mistakes that I wanted to report. I checked the Discord, but it looks like I am now allowed access to any of the channels that might be suitable for such things. Do I just report things I find in here?

For now, the most noticeable one I found is for Aiko's line "(Well… expect for all the other people who are here too!)", where "expect" should be "except".

I'll try to track them all for Eternum when I play through that, so please let me know where the best place would be to report these if I'm not a patron.

My god what a ride. Played this as im waiting for more Eternum content and i tried pacing myself but then i couldnt stop myself again just like with Eternum. I absolutely love your writing, the humour, the characterdesign...everything about this is amazing. Literally came for the porn, but stayed for the story.

Damn i love this game just as much as Eternum i would love to see a crossover like if they played eternum and got a invitation by unknown to join thier server and they did that and they ended up in this game and they need help to get back since there is no exit portal in this world.

Just finished this. Came here because of Eternum.

It's a rough start but as the game goes on you can tell everything from the graphics to story beats improve tenfold. I've honestly had such a good time with this game. Plus really loved the subtle hints to Eternum. Every moment was better than the last and honestly the quality is outstanding. You've really nailed the Erotic Visual Novel with the correct balance of Lewd, deep story, comedy and growth within the characters. The poses of the character drastically improved as the game went on. I can only criticize the start but everything good has a rough start. Don't look past this game you are most certainly missing out.

My last real thing for this reviewesk thing i've tried to write. Mike is one of the best characters. I loved every single scene they were in.

Does music not play in this game? When I started it up it told me to make sure music was enable yet I hear no music. I also don't see any options to turn music on or off.

Is oialt really just an eternum server? You said in a reply in the eternum comment section on itch that they aren't in the same world or both events didn't happen in the same universe their in. But you also said that there would be Easter eggs (or at least references) about oialt. Idk if these are just for fun, but if it does mean that people in eternum know what the events and things in oialt are, that must mean it really is a server cuz otherwise how would they know about oialt? But really, I'm just trying to ask if oialt really is just an eternum server or that the secret ending was just for funzies.

Omg hell yes I played this after Eternum and this is the best game series I've played in years the stories are so amazing and thank you for sharing this with the world. Honestly Thank You.

Bloody hell. I'm still only at the part Judie and James go to restaurant. This is genuinely an amazing game. I have laughed out loud at some of the comedy timing and geek culture references. Music is decent as well.

I was hooked at the bit when the MC tries to study and watches Netflix instead.
Cannot recommend it enough. 
As other commenters have said, came for the faps, stayed for the story writing and comedy.  

Before i played this i played Eternum btw great game can't wait for future updates but this game gosh it was completely amazing love every aspect of it never got bored the h scenes were well animated the character design on point the comedy hilarious the romance were really satisfying would have love to see the all the girls reactions after finding out he has multiple woman but ehh its okay still satisfied in the end,keep up the good work man al the support you deserve it

Just finished Eternum and was blown away with how good it was. As many have said before " came for the sex, stayed for the story & characters.

The experience had me wanting to try OIAL but I want to download the Mac version without having to use mega, is there an alternative ? (sorry if it has been asked before)
