man, i went in expecting just another adult VN but damn this was so well made. The story was surprisingly captivating and the horrorr parts were genuinely unnerving. Plus i never expected to laugh every couple of minutes. The game really lived up to its name.
Dude, that game was absolutely incredible! I was first afraid because of the look of the characters but when I was used to and find how funny the jokes were... honestly I can't even find word to describe how incredible this game is! It's for sure in my top 3 of best AVN, thanj you so much!
I finished this not too long ago and was lucky enough to get what I believe is the perfect ending, at least for me, and man, I can't express enough how much I loved this VN. Everything was executed so well. I don't know if there's a single thing I would go back and change. At the very least, I can't think of anything off the top of my head that I'd change. I had no idea what I was in for when I started the game, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. The story is fantastic and roped me in very quickly. It has a somewhat slow build, but that's how it should be, so it doesn't drop everything on you at once. The twist reveal at the end caught me completely by surprise, but I was there for it all the way. The characters are so memorable and fun. The main cast are unforgettable and very loveable (Lauren is the best, easily), the "secondary" girls are all unique and fun as well, and the recurring side characters never disappoint (vote Stabb). The romances are also on a slow burn, but once again, it's what makes this game as special as it is. You have to be patient, and the wait is certainly worth it. The soundtrack is also great, with all the songs complementing the scenes they accompany very well. The song in the epilogue even earned a spot in my spotify likes. The humor in this game is absolutely spot-on. There were some scenes that had me in literal tears from how hard I laughed (the yakuza intro still kills me). Speaking of tears, I NEVER thought an adult visual novel would get me to feel emotional, but by god, this game did it. In the epilogue scenes for the ending I got, seeing all the characters I grew to love, including the side characters Mike, Jack, and Hitomi, all getting their happy ending, I'm not afraid to admit I cried. This game and it's story is THAT well done. Slight spoilers ahead, but seeing the ring on Lauren and Judie's hands at the end was just... I couldn't have asked for a better ending. I truly love this VN. One could even say a story like it only comes along once in a lifetime ;)

this game is fascinating, the story, the romance, the beautiful music, the ending was something symbolic and exciting just like eternum, I already want the next version of eternum to arrive, they are really the 2 best games I have ever played in my life!!
I recommend using a walkthrough and starting over. I was also losing path at that point and it turns out it was a seemingly unimportant choice that I had made several hours ago. In my opinion you should path lose there, but it makes you wait to let you know. I don't want to spoil anything in the comments, but consider paying attention when you get home, you aren't yet the man of the house after all.

I downloaded it from Mediafire. It might not have been Russian, but I switched it to another language and now all the text and options dissapeared and I can’t do anything.
I see what you mean, the new version I updated now is fixed, but not if you already did that. In order to make it work you'd have to delete ALL DATA and caché of Renpy from your computer before downloading it again. That, or trying to click on the part where the preference button was. It's tedious, but it can be done. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. I'll try to find a better solution in the meantime.
There's another one that is triggered if you complete the game without following any of the girls' paths. It's a small reference to my new game Eternum.
Eternum was the very first 18+ western VN I have played, and OIAF was the very first I have beat. I gotta say..., this was truly a once in a lifetime experience for me.
To be blatantly honest, going from Eternum to OIAF was more of a downgrade than I anticipated. The character models and the lack of music in the first few chapters of OIAF really almost made me drop the game. But, now looking back, funny enough, I appreciate how lackluster the first portions of OIAF were compared to Eternum. It made me appreciate the rest of the journey a lot more and made me proud of both myself and Caribdis for finishing the game(different kinds of finishing ofc).
It is crystal clear how much Caribdis has improved throughout the creation of the game: the music choices, the comedic moments, the character interactions, the background design, the animations all became a perfection. It felt like two separate journeys, completing the story and wishing the characters farewell while listening to the tearjerking ending song, and also witnessing Cardibis able to freely pour their delightful humor into the creation of a masterpiece.
Thank you, Caribdis, for making this masterpiece and distributing it in a free manner, you could've absolutely made it pay only and thousands will still buy it. I promise to support patron once I am 18....(can't have my parents suspect a random monthly transaction on their credit card....)

Is there a romancing option for Iris, because it definitely feels like there should be, and is there a way to have Rebecca still join you on the plane? I really loved her character and it shattered me that she didn't end up with the other girls. Just leaving her at the altar with that d-bag sucked.
That being said, holy crap this game was just... beautifully done. Stabby Mike became the best character I never knew I'd fall platonically in love with. The humor in this game was *chef's kiss* and the overall story plot was truly brilliant.

(I am reminded of Ben Affleck bullshitting Alec Baldwin in Pearl Harbor. Except he wasn't.) Thank you, Caribdis, for creating such an inspiration for others. This game is an icon.
I just finished the game (multi ending). Honestly, it was the first Adult VN that I played for the plot too and not only for the sex scenes. The scenes were on peak, very good. Though the story was even better, it had great humour, well written characters and a captivating plot. In my opinion, it is one of the best adult games out there. I especially liked the characters: Tom after the memory wipe, Stabby Mike amd Jack after he put on some muscle. I usually do not write comments or anything else like that but I just wanted to thank the developer for the experience. So thank you, I really enjoyed playing the game.

It start slow... realy slow, but, not boring slow, more like "building the history" slow...
But, it was getting better. Things got deep and interesting. Mystery and plots were heating up and Mike is the real Best Friend anyone can have.
It kinda remember me of GOT: start because of the boobs but keep going because of its history.
However... 2 thing were "missing"... a huge harem orgy and the girls talking "how Things will work out".
Anyway...
