There's another one that is triggered if you complete the game without following any of the girls' paths. It's a small reference to my new game Eternum.
Eternum was the very first 18+ western VN I have played, and OIAF was the very first I have beat. I gotta say..., this was truly a once in a lifetime experience for me.
To be blatantly honest, going from Eternum to OIAF was more of a downgrade than I anticipated. The character models and the lack of music in the first few chapters of OIAF really almost made me drop the game. But, now looking back, funny enough, I appreciate how lackluster the first portions of OIAF were compared to Eternum. It made me appreciate the rest of the journey a lot more and made me proud of both myself and Caribdis for finishing the game(different kinds of finishing ofc).
It is crystal clear how much Caribdis has improved throughout the creation of the game: the music choices, the comedic moments, the character interactions, the background design, the animations all became a perfection. It felt like two separate journeys, completing the story and wishing the characters farewell while listening to the tearjerking ending song, and also witnessing Cardibis able to freely pour their delightful humor into the creation of a masterpiece.
Thank you, Caribdis, for making this masterpiece and distributing it in a free manner, you could've absolutely made it pay only and thousands will still buy it. I promise to support patron once I am 18....(can't have my parents suspect a random monthly transaction on their credit card....)
I have high hopes for Eternum and I give you my best wishes for that game and games to come!
Is there a romancing option for Iris, because it definitely feels like there should be, and is there a way to have Rebecca still join you on the plane? I really loved her character and it shattered me that she didn't end up with the other girls. Just leaving her at the altar with that d-bag sucked.
That being said, holy crap this game was just... beautifully done. Stabby Mike became the best character I never knew I'd fall platonically in love with. The humor in this game was *chef's kiss* and the overall story plot was truly brilliant.

I often hear about games that inspire other games, but I don't immediately recall an outright homage, except in two of my favorite games on itch.io that pay tribute to OIAL. (I am reminded of Ben Affleck bullshitting Alec Baldwin in Pearl Harbor. Except he wasn't.) Thank you, Caribdis, for creating such an inspiration for others. This game is an icon.
I just finished the game (multi ending). Honestly, it was the first Adult VN that I played for the plot too and not only for the sex scenes. The scenes were on peak, very good. Though the story was even better, it had great humour, well written characters and a captivating plot. In my opinion, it is one of the best adult games out there. I especially liked the characters: Tom after the memory wipe, Stabby Mike amd Jack after he put on some muscle. I usually do not write comments or anything else like that but I just wanted to thank the developer for the experience. So thank you, I really enjoyed playing the game.

Dang dude. EVERYTHING HITS THE MARK, the sex scenes are really good, the comedic timing is just perfect, the scary bits are actually scary, and the story got me invested instantly like jesus man one of the best out there.

Puerile, sorry. Really hard to get past some of the dialogue especially the pseudo-medical nonsense. Maybe research your subject a little if you're going to write a story. Yeah, I can see you put a fair bit of work into graphics and animations. Not too shabby. The game elements are ok though some seem to be more of a time-sink than have any practical use once max score has been reached (school). For the story, maybe get a co-writer with some writing experience to help out. There are things that will stand out as both racist and homophobic in a very immature way. I note that my comment is not well received but I'm not here to blow smoke up anyone's ass. I'll say it as I see it and when something needs improvement I'd rather see it improved than ignored.

You might settle for fast forwarding between sex scenes while all your blood goes to the little head but you don't represent everyone. And yeah, God forbid someone should provide some critique, right? Let's pretend it's all hunky dory and hope nothing ever improves. Let's just strive for mediocre eh?

I skipped through a majority of the sex scenes, and yes some things are a bit iffy. The game overall is quite amazing. Had me loving it and anticipating getting back in to advance the story. And there was plenty of gay stuff in the game. It was just limited to women with women, and I think that's more because your character is straight than anything. Nothing in this game made me think it was homophobic, but some things, like "fat jack" were a little in bad taste. But that was greatly overshadowed by how good the story and gameplay are. A lot of work went into this game, and the creator could easily charge for it, but they don't. The animations are great, the graphics are astounding at times, and the character and story building still blows me away after finishing it. And about the claim that some of the things in the game, "seem to be more of a time-sink," it allows you to not have to make the "correct" choices every time. I believe at the end I had some characters with almost 30 points, which is well past what was needed. But the reason I had so many is that I wanted to always make the choice that gains favor with the characters. But the fact that you don't have to do that every time and you can still get the "harem" ending, is a good thing. So just because a couple of things throughout the hours-long story were in bad taste, doesn't subtract from the game at all. Stop hating on it.

I love this game and Im so close to the end but I cant seem to nab Rebecca. I've had to restart twice and religiously followed the walkthrough. It seems like I have an option missing but I can only get her up to 17. Whats going on? Am I just dumb?

my only suggestion is to go back and so a remaster version of this game some time down the line

Replayed the game to get 100% completion and I will probably replay it again to see every other ending just for the fun of it. Amazing job Caribdis.

It's the same version, but the Android version is supposed to be played with a much smaller screen, so the game is compressed
