Plot
You’re moving with your best friend to the city of Kredon, home to some of the best schools and universities in the country, to continue your studies. However, in Kredon, there’s only one thing everyone talks about: ETERNUM—the virtual, hyper-reality MMORPG game released a few years ago that revolutionized the world of technology.
With a neural implant that recreates the five senses, it becomes impossible to distinguish between the game and the real world.
Thousands of servers form the network of Eternum: from colorful, magic-filled fantasy worlds to foggy sci-fi cities, no world is beyond reach.
Nevertheless, looking beyond the surface, there's a darker side to this pretty facade: black markets, torture, rape, illegal content trafficking, unlawful assemblies, data theft… Eternum follows the rules of no man.
For some reason, governments turn a blind eye to this; there’s no regulation and no control. Some say it’s because the game is highly addictive, some say it’s because the market moves millions of dollars daily, some say those in power have been bribed, and others say… there’s something else going on.
And you? What’s your role in this story?
Well... That’s up to you now.

Those old players who play this game, I want to ask you, according to the current progress, how long will it be updated?
It usually takes around 7 months or so, depends on the size but since the new update came out at January, I'm guessing maybe this July or August we're expecting news about the next one.
In Discord it's at 44% so probably it will be in the late of September or mid October
Well it all depends on how long Caribdis can get the renders done. So it may be sometime in August or September. Not to mention testing the game so it works properly with no errors or bugs
Having played once in a lifetime I'm not sure why it took me this long to get around to eternum, maybe the rush of the ending for OIAL made me hesitant to play this (or just how the choices played out in the end to put a ribbon on the story), but it certainly feels like the small hiccups there were recognized and corrected here or atleast seem to indicate it's going that direction

As in 44% complete? I was under the impression it was nearing completion.

Has Calypso been added as a main heroine in the game? Cuz i just saw a screenshot of someone with Calypso as a main heroine and that worries me because I don't have her as a main girl even though i have downloaded the latest version (0.8.6).
That's one of the featured mods, Eternum Bonus mod. A lot of people want her as a main LI, but personally I prefer her to stay as a side because I want more scenes for the main LIs. Especially Luna.
Really up to Cari tho, will still love the game regardless.

If you want local download Itch.io has to increase the size limit first. Game is too big for what they allow.
Before you say that, do you even know other ways to download? Cuz your like... The 1st player who complained about this..
Could you simplify DOWNLOADing process please , (MAC) so that we could download directly from itch.io? Because google drive download is not available (its too big and too many people use it error) and using other 2 methods it either requires downloading extra apps or speed download is 5 mbps. I love this game so much and I played it so much back when it's newly came out still play it now and waiting for updates...( There was a movie I watched back in the day and I think this idea of your game comes from that movie ( READY PLAYER ONE or I might be wrong but I think I am 100% certain it came from that movie but you still had your own story and insight of your game...( But once again you've literally created a masterpiece that's going to go down in history I truly cherish your work and I hope you keep on doing more ❤️

I'd say it won't happen unless you're a Demon Lord on either Patreon & SubscribeStar. Even by then you'd be one of many DLs to choose the theme of the monthly wallpaper & it was also mentioned in the tier description that it's a choice of which girl/s to feature.

Unknowable. The dev maintains a progress bar on his Subscribestar page and Discord server. He updates the bar every two weeks or so, right now it's at 38%.
He really should post progress updates here aswell.
Not everyone likes their inbox getting spammed when they follow multiple devs. If you have more than a passing interest in the development, you can join the Discord server or look at one of the crowdfunding pages every once in a while.

Of course, but the updates are very polished and I'd rather have less frequent updates than a burnt out dev who abandons the project at some point. I already witnessed the discontinuation of 3 amazing AVNs...

You're asking whether you are allowed to create a walkthrough mod? Mods are allowed, yes, as long as they are not malicious of course. These mods already have guidance functionalities, so you should have a look at them first before you go reinvent the wheel:
I tried to down on my steam deck and couldn't, incompatible third party website. Is there a way to fix this? I am new to pc gaming. I have the app installed and I am able to play other game, but not this one.
The Itch app can't download games this large, you should use a web browser to download it instead. Just copy and paste the URL at the top.
yes I checked online others doing this but when I double click on .exe file to lunch the game, nothing happens. Is there a app or something like wine that I have to install to lunch the game. btw I did installed wine and when I lunched the game, wine opened and instantly closed without doing nothing or any errors messages appearing
Eternum runs on Linux out of the box without runtime environments like wine; just run the .sh file.
