The latest scam strategy seems to be multiple fake accounts accusing each other, claiming that they are the legit dev. Meanwhile, they actually all link to the same Patreon page with a malicious download link and no payment set up to avoid being traced.
This is my second time commenting on here and I have to say, out of the 100s of visual novels I played this one is absolutely the most well written meticulously animation work of art. From character design to small intricate details like the world around you it really transcends what a visual novel is. The game feels alive. I have been playing this game since v3 and what a mind blowing journey. With all the plot twists and world building it really is a cinematic masterpiece. Obviously it's 18+ but it's not really a reason not to play it. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable experience and moment. Thank you Caribdis for creating this peak work of fiction.

i have a theory about chop chop that could make you think for a moment. Chop Chop could potentially be an NPC that died as a player and is trapped inside the world of eternum. During the pirate expedition that Orion goes on to find the pearl or something (don't remember the name of) he met chop chop there. Orion buys some stuff from him and prepares to set sail. he turns around and chop chop isn't there, like he got winked out of existence. when I first saw it I didn't think about it till replayed the game a few more times and then it clicked when 0.8 dropped. Thanatos outright confirms this during his fight with Orion near the end of 0.8 that people who have died playing eternum are trapped in the "game" are NPCs. so does this mean chop chop was once a player of eternum but died to something or someone, if so then who or what killed chop chop.
Gotta say, the story, the animations and the characters are amazing! Eagerly waiting for the next update! Btw, I laughed my ass off at every Nikolay's remark, man was he funny.
I played v0.8 in pc, but it seem all animation in sex scene don't work. I saw just the black screen with text and the icon to change view in that black screen. How can I fix it??
Hello, I have a question, ok so I've been playing eternum on my phone for a while now and I want to move to PC, is there any way I can keep my current progress if I want to switch from mobile to PC?
You can try finding the Eternum folder that might be stored externally(In the home folder(/storage/emulated/0/)) or internally(In the the android folder(/storage/emulated/0/Android)(Most likely in it's data folder)). In that directory's game directory, you will find the saves directory. You just need to copy it to your pc's same game directory and I guess you will be able to continue playing it on your pc(though take it with a grain of salt because i haven't tried it).
Once In a Lifetime was the first game I downloaded from Itch. That was a very good game. But this is on another level. I played the previous one at least thrice. Caribdis' games got me hooked. I'm eager for the next update.

The only immediate alternative would've been to have no music at all for the segments in question. I'm not too happy about the change either, but mainly because of nostalgia; the few samples I heard were actually quite good.
I'm trying to be fair to AI art (and music) as an emerging technology. Some treat it as the ultimate tool, others think it's bad no matter what. For the time being, I'm deciding on it case by case. It's definitely easier to create slop now, but someone experienced can certainly leverage its strengths.

Humour is top tier, drama is top tier, story-telling is top tier, character design is top-tier, world building is elite. Genuinely, EVERYTHING about this game is fantastic. I'm not in a financial position to support the creator but please guys give this person and or group the props they deserve cause I've genuinely found myself thinking about the game in my day to day thinking how much I want to keep playing. (also the use of sound in this game is the best I've ever seen in the visual novel department.) I genuinely cannot wait for the final version of this game!

The characters in the game are vivid and full of personality. Their stories and emotions can instantly substitute me, as if I were a member of the story. And its narrative rhythm is just right, so it doesn't feel sluggish or confused because it is moving too fast.

If the official really joined the dubbing, you can generally set the dubbing volume in the settings. If you don't like it, you can set it to zero directly.It will be a great joy for people who like to have voices, hahaha.
I'd also like voices but I think that's best suggested for a future game. Implementing it now while it's in progress would make things slower & not to mention the costs & time to find fitting voices for each.

This game is really good but in my opinion and more than all personal discomfort is that the protagonist is too ugly and I feel that he does not deserve the merit of being with so many girls, separately I do not identify myself (it is also a personal opinion apart from this the game is good).
They loved him not because of his looks but because of his personality. Not because he got a big dick but because of how he cares about them and how genuinely a good guy he is(well depends on your choices). And tbh he looks decent enough.

Nah you trippin, I actually prefer some of the ai replacements as opposed to the song. Fits the theme of the scene rather nicely.

You probably got locked out from the girls after selecting the wrong options. There is a walkthrough if you need help!
