I know that Discord has to know your birthday before it lets you on an 18+ server. That's what the problem is in most cases. If that's not it, my expertise on Discord is limited and there's not much info to go off of, so I don't think I can help you further.

You're right, everything is already rendered in advance, nothing is rendered at runtime.
The playtime of this AVN is already very impressive, for a slow player like me it's ~30 hours already.
There are a lot of different renders. Every frame is a new render, there's little reuse and there are no shortcuts. That makes the bulk of the size, we're close to 10.000 of them I think.
There are hundreds of animations, which are, on average, longer than in your typical AVN. And a lot of them have a moving camera, which drives up their size too.
The game also goes heavy on music & SFX, we might have passed the thousand mark on them already.
So yeah, it's a lot. Media compression is already being used, though you can always push it a bit more in exchange for worse quality, like they do in the Android version.
Not normal, it's a weird bug that affects certain Android devices since 0.7. The Android developer is trying to isolate it I believe. I'm sure Tanxui knows more.
I've taken a lot of initiative when it comes to this bug. However, Ixalon made the build, he is in the best position to find a fix. Everything I'd do would require twice the effort compared to him.
Let's compile what we know so far:
The bug has been reported mostly on Android, but also on Mac devices.
It affects some devices, but not all of them. No pattern has emerged yet when it comes to which devices are affected.
It always manifests like this: The game has zero audio, except on the 18+ screen at the beginning. All frames that are animations are completely black instead. Though dialogue still plays as normal.
Additionally, some people report occasional crashes while being affected by this bug. We have only one crash report, it complains about failure to allocate graphics resources, possibly because the game ran out of memory?
Android users reported that the game worked fine when it was single-apk, only the multi-file versions have the problem.
One Android user even said that for him this applies to all Android RenPy games: As soon as they switch from single-apk to multi-file, the game doesn't work properly anymore.
Theory 1: The game needs more memory than some devices are able to provide. Maybe we can optimize memory usage?
Theory 2: Some devices are unable to handle certain manners of compression. Maybe we can use other manners of compression instead?
Love Ripples, but the number of sentences ending in "at" and the liberal use of "anyways" disconnects my old ass too often. That's on me, not the game, as that is how characters that age speak now, but it still rankles.
Once in a Lifetime is a finished game that, while in some ways a product of the tools available at the time, is better than almost all similar games existing now, much less then.
I went a few chapters into My Bully, but the dialogue is hard. The story seems great, but the translation hurts my head.
Downloaded Dreamlink based on this post. It isn't just like this, so far, it looks like an homage to this. Nothing wrong with that. Shows potential so far, and other than Lucy having blue eyes in one scene, the only complaint I have is that I have a very large snowshoe Siamese cat, big enough to put his front paws on the kitchen counter while his rear paws are on the floor. Being that large, he has the head-down mountain lion walk instead of the meshed left-right head-up shuffle of the other cats, and has a pronounced snout, meaning he's a bit cross-eyed when focusing close in. The girls in Dreamlink seem the same, as if their eye-focus setting was placed right in front of them during illustration, not back where the MC's POV is.
You're very sensitive to improper language I see. I rarely notice things like that. About the cross-eyed thing, why don't you tell the dev directly in his comment section or on his Discord server? I'm sure he'd appreciate your feedback.
Because I don't know enough about the tools used to know whether my perception is correct, same as I never tell an artist "you should do [my fantasy]." In all of these games, the thing is to roll with the author's vision. I don't ever want to be that asshole who complains about free games not catering to my kinks (this one mostly doesn't, it's just so good, it is the LotR of AVNs, and having the Hobbit already finished is also way cool). First time I am playing I lost my path with dalia and Luna I am not rewind the decision that I am make so I want to know what could possibly happen and after the third time I am playing I see this game have so much story line or different scene even if you get the wrong decision. In Eternum, every girl has a path and bad choices can make you irreversibly lose a girl's path. This is indicated by their portrait becoming grey in the overview screen. Either deal with it and move on or load an older save and try to make things right.

I love the characters, the humor - god did I laugh a lot, the story, the romance. Definitely in my top 5 games of all time. I find it that good.
Just playing it for the third time, didn't even notice that a new version was out already - just starting with Episode 7 Last thing I knew from my last playthrough was Bardot at Alex' place. Boy, what a revelation, even more questions :D Seems like Bardot isn't such a thundercunt after all... well he is but there's something about his intentions which seem... hmm, I'm not sure what his game really is but I love to find out.

I wanna ask i did all of this but i dont particularly remember the last chapter i have but i have a saved which i updated its still here but whenever i load it just sent me something about couldn't find the place to rollback this is also happened before i updated the game now it wasn't like this before i started using joiplay & renpai so I'm guess the renpai did something to eternum (pls help)
"Couldn't find a place to stop rolling back" is an error message you can get when trying to load an older save on a newer version of a RenPy game. You need to restart your game when you get this error message.
Most often only some saves are affected by this. Try to load other saves of that same playthrough, most of them should still work fine.
Great story! Perhaps the only game with sex scenes, where I rather expect to see not the scenes themselves, but the development of the plot and characters. A truly unique project! But now I’m only interested in one thing: what does the content of pregnancy mean, which they talk about at the beginning? Will this be available in future updates? Throughout the entire game, I never saw what was said at the beginning.
Pregnancy content, should you choose to enable it, is indeed going to be a lategame thing. If you want to know how this could look like, you should play Caribdis' previous work: Once in a Lifetime.
Judging by their previous game, I suggest enabling it - it gives a few more extra scenes and has no real impact - and when the credits roll it's super funny so.... yea, enable it

This game uses video files, not gifs. Also those images number by the thousands, so compression alone would only reduce file size to a point.

I have quite a problem while installing OIALT, it always fails at the middle of downloading
Use a different download provider (Mediafire works best for me) or try downloading with a different browser.

Install this mod, click the big N on the title menu five times, then pick a chapter you want to start from.
After that, if you want to play without guidance, you can either disable the mod in the preferences or uninstall it.
