Hi! i ran into a problem. I played this game a while ago on my old PC and i saw that this game had a update. So i wanted to play it but my PC died. Lucky enough i have saved all my recent Saves and Caches from the old Pc in a seperate usb stick and added the files into the newly downloaded game. But i was unlucky enough to find that my saves and caches arent loading in the game. I don't want to play the whlle game again tho. Can someone help me out or did i just lose everything?
I always only copy the saves folder to the new version and that works for me. Don't know whether this is the supposed way, though. Maybe try it without overwriting the cache folder?
What can I say? Eternum is an absolute masterpiece. I created this account just to express how incredible it is. I love it so much that I highly recommend playing other games first—because once you experience Eternum, nothing else will ever compare.
Eternum shows what a perfect visual novel should be. The humor is fantastic, packed with memes and jokes, while the characterization is nothing but just magnificent. Each girl has a slightly different personality, creating different feelings.(I love nova soooo much). The sex scenes? oh boy they are the best, while the "action" is so greatly rendered, they have a good build up and emotions and love in it.
The lighting and music truly stand out as highlights. The soundtrack is so good but niche. I swear Caribdis has to be a film director, he sets each scene so perfectly, every slide and every word has its meaning.

1. I switched my browser to Opera GX 2. The download was not the problem, the problem was to install it 3. I have the app downloaded and there is the problem when i want to install it but thanks for the reply
I know that the itch app will show you this message if you try to download the game. You can't download this game through the itch app, it's too large. Use a regular web browser instead! Opera GX will do.

Honestly , had no expectations when I got into sternum after a friend recommended but is safe to say , i love it so much.
So many memes/references , funny moments , horror , the story , the plot , how nice are the characters and the interaction with them , it mades me forget sometimes that I initially got it for the H scenes.

I am kind of stunned to be honest. I came here because I just wanted some good action with a passable story, but GODDAMN.
I went from "eh we will see what's up" to "I can't believe that I enjoy this so much!". I have never before seen/used AVN type of media before, but at this point I am even afraid to look for something else, since this has raised my expectations quite high.
The story is good and entertaining, the characters have distinct and likeable personalities, there were good unexpected funny moments and the audio was always very fitting. I really delved into the spotify list.
I have never left reviews, comments or anything like that anywhere, but this was something else. I was so positively surprised I wanted to share my experience and create an account here.
If I wasn't so broke I would want to support this project. I am waiting for the public release of 8.0, thanks Caribdis!

Hey dude i found your game randomly and amongst any other similar game I've played i can gladly said this game is x100 better than anything I've played. The story is legit so well made and thought of, the humor is next level and there arent any bugs or such to make it annoying.. though i just wished theres more after the happy ending which i decided to invest in judie with lol. Thats the only "complain" i have about the game. I'll try your other one now and i bet its even better. I recommend you to read the Ren'Py documentation on translations, it should answer all of your questions. Umlauts are a problem because the default fonts don't support them. You need to replace them with your own fonts, which is a style translation.
EDIT: And about uploading you translation, you can send your translation to Caribids, Discord works, and he might add it to the downloads as a patch.

You're probably missing story related to those girls, cheating isn't a good solution here.
It may sound daunting but it's probably best if you load an older save or start over completely. The game has a potent skip feature, use it if you want to. I offer an unintrusive walkthrough mod here, which will prevent something like this happening to you again.
If you're still determined to cheat regardless, this mod should help you with that. Alternatively you can use URM if you want a mod that's more flexible, but also more difficult to use.

how did you lost? Go to Eternum-0.7.5\games\saves and check if there are save files. Or if you really lost your saves, use skip feature to recover the progress. Skipping unseen text and after choices setting in preferences will help you.
are you on mobile or a PC if your on PC just go to mobile or the opposite if you have the option cause this game is so good wouldn't want someone to miss out

To translate Eternum, which is powered by Renpy, you can use Renpy sdk to make a template of translation patch. You can translate the game with editing that, but please note, translating tremendous amount of line is almost torture. If you want to know more, i can tell you.

When I started playing, I was initially concerned that my system might struggle due to the quality of the graphics. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The game ran smoothly, and I even noticed improvements in visual quality as I progressed. The performance was excellent on my setup, and I thoroughly enjoyed the immersive scenes.
However, with the latest update (0.8), I’ve been experiencing significant lag during scenes. The graphics are superb, but unfortunately, they now seem too demanding for my system to handle. Sometimes, the scenes aren’t smooth and appear more like a slideshow. For context, I’m using a 13-inch 2017 MacBook Pro with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 (1536 MB) and a 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5.
I understand the importance of improving visual quality, but I wanted to suggest considering the graphics quality of version 0.7 specifically for the scenes. These versions already looked fantastic and were more manageable for lower-end devices like mine. This adjustment would allow users with similar setups to continue enjoying the game without sacrificing performance.

There is no actual 3D rendering in the game. It is 2D .png images taken of the 3D scenes, or .webm clips for the animations. If your PC is struggling with it then there is something wrong with your computer. Maybe your integrated graphics card having a hard time with playing the .webm files at such a high resolution and framerate. It is possible it is too old to keep up with large and demanding video playback.

One of the best erotic visual novels available on this site. I do wish character models looked a bit better but its fine. Everything else is superb. Writing and soundtrack are top notch. The animations during sex scenes is very erotic with the music selection. Also the humor in the game is very well done.
I played threw the game twice now. I like the story, the music and the sound but: From my point of view (almost) all the female characters are ugly AF. Even half of the breast size would be considered big in real life and the hip width on some characters is simply insane. On top of this the MC makes comments like "her thin waist" and I am like "which drugs are you taking?". The characters have hips like a 200kg women in RL would have, with I-CUP breast sizes and waists of 14 year old girls. On top of this some of the character designs are not really... believable. Example: (I don't want to spoil in the comments) but... "the nerdy girl" should look like a nerdy girl if you ask me. Glasses, Headphones, Nerd culture clothing, (maybe muted colors) etc. Her character design is "hot model with the sports abilities of a olympic gold medal winner". There was obviously a lot of thought put into this game, but sadly not into how the characters should look like or how a "person with character traits XYZ would get dressed and express themselves". Also: Skin Materials and rendering is not the strongsuit of the engine that was used (some skins of characters look silver prbly because some metal shader stuff was used instead of roughness/specularity?? to make the skin "shiny in a certain way"). Some of the renders look like they were screenshots made in source engine because the lighting is this bad (granted the lighting in the virtual world is mostly good or fine). I would suggest rendering in Blender especially after the rasterization engine "EVEEE" got a massive upgrade lately and reduce the exaggerated proportions for the next game a bit, especially for characters that are meant to have a "sporty theme". For example the characters in the virtual world could have more exaggerated proportions while "the real ones" could have more "normal " proportions.
your point is valid, but bro, it's an 18+ erotic game, what do you want? You can just enjoy the beauty (even if not natural) of the characters and the story. I understand that there are people who find this very annoying, but it doesn't apply to everyone, right?
Most female characters in this game are not beautifull which is my point. Take a look at Nancys and Penelopes proportions. This is meant to be sexy? Are you kidding me? Sexy woman in real life have proportions like a classic Coca Cola Glass bottle (the small one). The female body has a suttle and round flow to it (yes I visited anatomy classes and let me tell you they are boring). Nancy and Penelope (and other characters) have proportions of 2 pyramids on top of each other like |><|. Not even Anime does exaggerate proportions like this (at least 99%) and that fact should tell you all you need to know. Most people in rl tend to say 90 - 60 -90 cms are "optimal" proportions for a reason. I bet the proportions on a lot of characters in the game are 120 - 40/50 - 120.
cool. You are entitled to that opinion, supported by evidence. But surely you must understand that the majority *is* attracted to these characters, and therefore, in order to appeal to an as large as possible audience, the developer will make these characters in the way they did. If you don't like the way it looks, don't torture yourself playing a game which doesn't appeal to you.
that is true, but A LOT of "top seller games" in this genre don't exaggerate proportions as extreme as this game does. Why? Because people in real life exist who are actually 3D Artists in real life AND are married and do know what they are talking about. For example: I guess the characters are made in DAZ3D. Not sure which base body it is but could be likely some Gen2. Reason? Posing in DAZ3D is not as quircky is in Blender and A LOT of 3D VN Artists use it, because most Asset sellers have a clauses that allows people to use these assets in VNs without any crazy conditions. Usually you have to pay extra for commercial use of payed assets or you have to create them from scratch which is a HUGE pain as a small team (ESPECIALLY hair). You could use a DAZ3D to Blender workflow which would end up in a lot better looking final renders (Because better shadow penumbras and better calculations of light energy conservation), but posing daz characters in Blender is pretty slow because of the RIG / the diffeomorphic add on. On top: Blender now has a Asset Libary that has support for saving poses, but that (likely) wasnt the case when pre production of this game startet. In terms of "preferences" there is much more to consider. For example often anime characters have arms that are about as long as the hip (observe it in anime yourself)(arm lenght should be about half of the tight in length) , which even made its way into modern 3D Rendered anime (which look like 2D but are made in 3D). All of the characters usually are posed in a "hollow back" position to make the breast / ass look bigger... woman in real life would suffer from this and likely would need some form of walking aid after a couple years. Shall I go on? THe moral of the story is: You can make good Porn games without F - J size Breasts that are as big as 1-2 human heads (which is for example the case for Penelope and Nancy)
....The game is made using Honey Select 2 (a Japanese H-game with a built-in Studio Mode which is where the renders for this game are made), not Daz3D.
Actually there is nothing wrong with the software, you can do normal sized breasts with each of them. The enormous breasts and thighs are there because the asian community loves them, probably because the average asian girls lack of them. Even caucasians dont have huge boobs with slender features, as breasts are mostly fat. If the woman is a bit fatter the breasts will become a bit bigger. I like most types of breasts, smaller, bigger, the best is the golden middle, the medium size, fit in a palm. To be honest i'm not a fan of the enormous boobs either, still i respect the wish of the people who like this sort of stuff. Its not a big deal. You can focus on other girls if you want.
Your tantrum is pointless. Beauty is mostly subjective, and I don't understand why you felt compelled to type this all out like caribdis is gonna redesign the game for you or something. I find the girls pretty, and so does almost everyone who plays the game. Nobody gives a fuck about accurate proportions and realistic skin, this is a visual novel and we just want nice titts and ass. If you want realistic girls you can jump on pornhub or visit your local brothel.

Not sure if this is a mistake but did Nancy not become empress of the WRE? After the 0.8 update they refer to themselves as the ERE but I thought they were absorbed into the WRE by Nancy and her allies earlier in the game?
At this point I just want to continue playing this game forever but I know everything has an end. And I feel the plot progression is much faster in 0.8 than previous ( especially the relationship with girls). To be honest, I just hope there will be more individual scenes with each girl. Not saying I don't like several vs one scenario, I just feel like there are still so much more potentials, no need to rush now. Although consider this is already 0.8, I just hope there going to be more.
P.S: Again, I am not saying I don't like thr**some or harem contents, I just want more plot and scenes with each individual girl. An example is Treasure of Nadia I have played. It was a fantastic game(It was THE game that got me into VN tbh). But a sad thing about that game is that a few girls only got 1-2 individual scenes with the MC and after that it's all harem scenes with other girls and MC together. It's definitely not bad, but I just feel it's a little underdevelopment for such a stunning character.

I put the whole save files folder in the game folder, same with the cache. Normally it should work but dont see any saves. Maybe i forgot something?

To translate Eternum, which is powered by Renpy, you can use Renpy sdk to make a template of translation patch. You can translate the game with editing that, but please note, translating tremendous amount of line is almost torture. If you want to know more, i can tell you.

When I started playing, I was initially concerned that my system might struggle due to the quality of the graphics. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The game ran smoothly, and I even noticed improvements in visual quality as I progressed. The performance was excellent on my setup, and I thoroughly enjoyed the immersive scenes.
However, with the latest update (0.8), I’ve been experiencing significant lag during scenes. The graphics are superb, but unfortunately, they now seem too demanding for my system to handle. Sometimes, the scenes aren’t smooth and appear more like a slideshow. For context, I’m using a 13-inch 2017 MacBook Pro with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 (1536 MB) and a 2.3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5.
I understand the importance of improving visual quality, but I wanted to suggest considering the graphics quality of version 0.7 specifically for the scenes. These versions already looked fantastic and were more manageable for lower-end devices like mine. This adjustment would allow users with similar setups to continue enjoying the game without sacrificing performance.

cause even the scenes from previous versions are lagging when i replay them. The game's too good for my system.
There is no actual 3D rendering in the game. It is 2D .png images taken of the 3D scenes, or .webm clips for the animations. If your PC is struggling with it then there is something wrong with your computer. Maybe your integrated graphics card having a hard time with playing the .webm files at such a high resolution and framerate. It is possible it is too old to keep up with large and demanding video playback.

One of the best erotic visual novels available on this site. I do wish character models looked a bit better but its fine. Everything else is superb. Writing and soundtrack are top notch. The animations during sex scenes is very erotic with the music selection. Also the humor in the game is very well done.

I played threw the game twice now. I like the story, the music and the sound but: From my point of view (almost) all the female characters are ugly AF. Even half of the breast size would be considered big in real life and the hip width on some characters is simply insane. On top of this the MC makes comments like "her thin waist" and I am like "which drugs are you taking?". The characters have hips like a 200kg women in RL would have, with I-CUP breast sizes and waists of 14 year old girls. On top of this some of the character designs are not really... believable. Example: (I don't want to spoil in the comments) but... "the nerdy girl" should look like a nerdy girl if you ask me. Glasses, Headphones, Nerd culture clothing, (maybe muted colors) etc. Her character design is "hot model with the sports abilities of a olympic gold medal winner". There was obviously a lot of thought put into this game, but sadly not into how the characters should look like or how a "person with character traits XYZ would get dressed and express themselves". Also: Skin Materials and rendering is not the strongsuit of the engine that was used (some skins of characters look silver prbly because some metal shader stuff was used instead of roughness/specularity?? to make the skin "shiny in a certain way"). Some of the renders look like they were screenshots made in source engine because the lighting is this bad (granted the lighting in the virtual world is mostly good or fine). I would suggest rendering in Blender especially after the rasterization engine "EVEEE" got a massive upgrade lately and reduce the exaggerated proportions for the next game a bit, especially for characters that are meant to have a "sporty theme". For example the characters in the virtual world could have more exaggerated proportions while "the real ones" could have more "normal " proportions.

Most female characters in this game are not beautifull which is my point. Take a look at Nancys and Penelopes proportions. This is meant to be sexy? Are you kidding me? Sexy woman in real life have proportions like a classic Coca Cola Glass bottle (the small one). The female body has a suttle and round flow to it (yes I visited anatomy classes and let me tell you they are boring). Nancy and Penelope (and other characters) have proportions of 2 pyramids on top of each other like |><|. Not even Anime does exaggerate proportions like this (at least 99%) and that fact should tell you all you need to know. Most people in rl tend to say 90 - 60 -90 cms are "optimal" proportions for a reason. I bet the proportions on a lot of characters in the game are 120 - 40/50 - 120.

But surely you must understand that the majority *is* attracted to these characters, and therefore, in order to appeal to an as large as possible audience, the developer will make these characters in the way they did. If you don't like the way it looks, don't torture yourself playing a game which doesn't appeal to you.

that is true, but A LOT of "top seller games" in this genre don't exaggerate proportions as extreme as this game does. Why? Because people in real life exist who are actually 3D Artists in real life AND are married and do know what they are talking about. For example: I guess the characters are made in DAZ3D. Not sure which base body it is but could be likely some Gen2. Reason? Posing in DAZ3D is not as quircky is in Blender and A LOT of 3D VN Artists use it, because most Asset sellers have a clauses that allows people to use these assets in VNs without any crazy conditions. Usually you have to pay extra for commercial use of payed assets or you have to create them from scratch which is a HUGE pain as a small team (ESPECIALLY hair). You could use a DAZ3D to Blender workflow which would end up in a lot better looking final renders (Because better shadow penumbras and better calculations of light energy conservation), but posing daz characters in Blender is pretty slow because of the RIG / the diffeomorphic add on. On top: Blender now has a Asset Libary that has support for saving poses, but that (likely) wasnt the case when pre production of this game startet. In terms of "preferences" there is much more to consider. For example often anime characters have arms that are about as long as the hip (observe it in anime yourself)(arm lenght should be about half of the tight in length) , which even made its way into modern 3D Rendered anime (which look like 2D but are made in 3D). All of the characters usually are posed in a "hollow back" position to make the breast / ass look bigger... woman in real life would suffer from this and likely would need some form of walking aid after a couple years. Shall I go on? THe moral of the story is: You can make good Porn games without F - J size Breasts that are as big as 1-2 human heads (which is for example the case for Penelope and Nancy)

Actually there is nothing wrong with the software, you can do normal sized breasts with each of them. The enormous breasts and thighs are there because the asian community loves them, probably because the average asian girls lack of them. Even caucasians dont have huge boobs with slender features, as breasts are mostly fat. If the woman is a bit fatter the breasts will become a bit bigger. I like most types of breasts, smaller, bigger, the best is the golden middle, the medium size, fit in a palm. To be honest i'm not a fan of the enormous boobs either, still i respect the wish of the people who like this sort of stuff. Its not a big deal. You can focus on other girls if you want.

Not sure if this is a mistake but did Nancy not become empress of the WRE? After the 0.8 update they refer to themselves as the ERE but I thought they were absorbed into the WRE by Nancy and her allies earlier in the game?
At this point I just want to continue playing this game forever but I know everything has an end. And I feel the plot progression is much faster in 0.8 than previous ( especially the relationship with girls). To be honest, I just hope there will be more individual scenes with each girl. Not saying I don't like several vs one scenario, I just feel like there are still so much more potentials, no need to rush now. Although consider this is already 0.8, I just hope there going to be more.
P.S: Again, I am not saying I don't like thr**some or harem contents, I just want more plot and scenes with each individual girl. An example is Treasure of Nadia I have played. It was a fantastic game(It was THE game that got me into VN tbh). But a sad thing about that game is that a few girls only got 1-2 individual scenes with the MC and after that it's all harem scenes with other girls and MC together. It's definitely not bad, but I just feel it's a little underdevelopment for such a stunning character.
