the game is downloaded in a .zip archive. You have to unpack that and the game should be named something like "eternum" or "eternum-0.x". I don't think it's located in a subfolderm more likely to be extracted as.exe directly. Also make sure that if you download a translation you download the base game aswell
My review of the game: So far, Eternum is a perfect game, even without its NSFW components (i.e. if it just faded to black), it would arguably still be a Solid A, with the Ready Player One influences, characterization and the mystery going on.
The NSFW scenes though are what raise the game to an entire other level. It's easy to see how skilled Caribdis is, the first notable scene with Annie has the song "Run Boy Run" play which sensually accompanies the outer teasing. There is also the Nova riding scene where the two can barely contain their desire for each other. But most notably I believe is the Alex first sex scene, with the powerful line "never in a million years" that show she has broken her own principles in order to lust or love our main character. The triple whammy scenes that follow in a roll really seals the deal and makes the scene ground breaking to me, for a free to play game.
Other notable scenes include the Egyptian which adds diversity and exotic feeling, and the Spanish influenced music playing while you are massaging Luna. I look forward to the full game of Eternum...

make sure you have permissions to access the file - it might be downloaded in a protected place (right click setting and property for the folder, make sure you have full admin permissions)

It nearly has everything we missing by all the normal games for PC and consoles.
The Story is absolutely stunning and thrilling, the Plot-Twists are unexpectedly and the whole package is absolutely awesome.
I even doesn't care about, that you only have to choose an answer and doesn't really interact with the girls ... because this game is the absolutely best one, I've played in the last few months.

For Caribdis I know I have seen you said you aren't thinking of having this game voice acted. But what if it was just some fans going together to do it volunteering. We would need more women volunteers for obvious reasons but this is just my thoughts would it be possible to do and would you allow it.
I would volunteer for Orion I feel my voice is good enough been complimented on it a few times been told I can do radio. Would anyone else want to volunteer?
Just something I want to get off my chest and if this works out maybe doing voices for other great AVNs such as Luckys Paradox, Shale Hill Secrets Once In a Lifetime among others.

I'm just big on games where the choices feel like they have some impact. Would happily support the dev if that's the case, but if it's not then I'll have to pass on playing at all. Just a matter of personal taste.

Caribdis you need to sort whatever you need to sort to get your games on Steam, i have an embarrassingly big collection of AVN's and yours are up in the top 3 creators along with DrPinkCake (Being a Dik) and Inceton games (Summer with Mia)
It's not just about the money you could make It's also the fact so many steam users who want quality adult visual novels get suckered in by trash. At least with your games they get their money's worth.
You can't sell a game on Steam that uses renders made from Honey Select 2. That's like trying to sell a game that uses renders made from a modded Skyrim or Fallout 4. Steam's not gonna let that happen.
Cari has gone on record on his Discord that he doesn't like redoing/remaking stuff, so don't expect that kind of thing from him. Furthermore, he's already mentioned that he's planning to make the next game after Eternum with Honey Select 2 again, so he seems to be pretty much committed in not having his works ever grace Steam anytime soon.

No. Software versions are not floating point numbers but several integers separated by a dot. After 0.9 comes 0.10, then 0.11 and so on. The dev estimates that the final update will land on something between 0.12 and 0.14

Seriously, the best VN I've ever played through. I've become absolutely hooked on VNs in the last six months and I've played a lot of them. This one is now my gold standard. In fact, I've become so obsessed that I'm creating my own and using this game as my reference for quality and enjoyability. Please, PLEASE, don't stop creating these. You've raised the bar and created something truly unique and entertaining. Thank you for this and great work.
According to the developer, there will be about 12-14 updates. Therefore, the game will be completed in at least a couple of years. As for the next version, 0.8, I think it will be released towards the end of 2024.
As it is right now: Not really. The only exception I can think of is Dalia's password, but most of the time there's no special dialogue later that changes depending on how you lost a path. The game is at its best when you keep following everyone's path.
My game won't open, and I don't know why, I've also tried playing the game 2 times in the past and it shows the loading icon, but it still won't open at all.
Which operating system? Make sure that your download isn't corrupted, the zip file should be ~7.5 GB large in total. And I hope you fully extracted the game before you tried to run it, don't just extract the executable.
really enjoyed this. great story, great graphics, interesting (not boring) dialogue, held my attention, kept me interested and left me wanting more. 10/10

You won't see it on Steam even in complete state. HS2 games can't be published on Steam due to licensing.

I use windows and the file is 7.5 gb and I used breezip to extract the game fully.
