Plot
You’re moving with your best friend to the city of Kredon, home to some of the best schools and universities in the country, to continue your studies. However, in Kredon, there’s only one thing everyone talks about: ETERNUM—the virtual, hyper-reality MMORPG game released a few years ago that revolutionized the world of technology.
With a neural implant that recreates the five senses, it becomes impossible to distinguish between the game and the real world.
Thousands of servers form the network of Eternum: from colorful, magic-filled fantasy worlds to foggy sci-fi cities, no world is beyond reach.
Nevertheless, looking beyond the surface, there's a darker side to this pretty facade: black markets, torture, rape, illegal content trafficking, unlawful assemblies, data theft… Eternum follows the rules of no man.
For some reason, governments turn a blind eye to this; there’s no regulation and no control. Some say it’s because the game is highly addictive, some say it’s because the market moves millions of dollars daily, some say those in power have been bribed, and others say… there’s something else going on.
And you? What’s your role in this story?
Well... That’s up to you now.

It's not expired, even though that's what the message says, it's just age restricted. Try going to the Discord settings > Family Center and input your birthday when prompted. Then try again.

This is more of a guess, so please tell me if it works: Try extracting the game files with ZArchiver instead of your default zip extractor and replace the archive.rpa file in your "game" folder. Your default zip extractor might be faulty.
This was happening to me because I was opening an old version of the game. Despite being an old version of the game, it still showed my most recent saves.

Just play through the first Eva scene, it’s total David Lynch-style stuff and I love it so much, the OST is amazing. It’s the first time in a while that I feel so into a game. Thank you so much for everybody’s work to build this game, I appreciate it a lot. Considering the span of the game is so long, am so excited to discover more as I continue playing

Help! When I downloaded it on Mega app, It never finish because of the quota, had to pause it for a while but then after I exit the apps, the whole progress was deleted 😢 The 4.9 Gb was gone and back to zero. 💔
I finished the update and I was left with the same feeling as the previous one: intrigued as hell.
I don't know how I'm going to hold out until the next update, I think I'll stick with OiALT.
By the way, could someone tell me the name of the song that plays during the hotel scene?
Man, the best thing to know that is by looking on YouTube... Just search, "Eternum OST" and then click the playlist and scroll to the bottom. (Every soundtrack from updates are added to the bottom of the playlist) And also... If you're bored and you want something that can rival this storyline or even better, play M.B.I.M.L, you're gonna love that...
So I downloaded the update for android, and it updated. I had to go back to the beginning of last update for some reason because it wouldnt load my last save. I skipped through it all and got back to where last update ended. It progresses, but all of the images are saying they cant be found. Whats going on here??

Hey, just started the game up for the first time in 2 years, sadly I can't load my old savegames. I transferred them from my old computer, so the game informs me that the save was created on a different device. However, when I acknowledge this, it only sends me back to the loading page.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Which file in the game controls gallery ? I transfered my save but the gallery doesnt work now
had no problem with that at all really
Some things are greyed out of course because they didn't happen yet, but unless the char is actually greyed out - not a prob - as it's about to come
Meaning, if you don't have a char greyed out, you didn't do anything wrong so far, it just happens later
when i load the save, click the heart icon on top left then click gallery the game crashes if i look at the individual girls gallery EVERYTHING is locked
Sounds like an incompatible save file to me.
Maybe the version difference is too high?
Anyone know how to safely delete old game versions but keep the game progress files? This is my first time following a game that's still in dev. TIA
just copy the saves folder - something like that: Eternum-0.8.5-pc\game\saves
Concerning 0.8.0 filesize download limits imposed by servers:
Mega caps 4GB/day, PixelDrain 6GB/day, & Screwgle FileHosting is n/g.
When I was a kid, we all used MediaFile or maybe 4shared
Hate to tell you, Caribdis, but you’re paying for FileHosts that fail to deliver.

It's been like that for some... well it's always been there :D
I still recommend megaupload because I got to download it within 2 sessions, meaning - you get the first half easily, then wait 3-4 hours to download the second part

Relax, Pregnancy content is optional. If you disabled it at the start of the game, you won't see it.
That's actually called 'rape' and it's generally frowned upon for good reason

So what was the point in the pregnancy on/off option at the start? Nothing happened except for Alex making a joke to see how you'd react.
We all have our turn-ons/offs, some people think it'd be hot to see the girls pregnant, and others wouldn't; keep in mind though, that the game isn't finished yet, so Alex's little joke might be some foreshadowing.
Judging by the other games by caribdis it really only affects the post-game scenes and adds some more scenes in-between but has no real effect on the story otherwise.

Now I'm very satisfied with my playthrough. Imagine able to see Thanatos fight for like a short period and him having control of the dimitrous (something like that) metal to bind chains to Calypso. Not to mention that the MC gets to control of going back to eternum and to the real world without the Neutral Implant, perrrfect. Everything was so smooth, a total masterpiece ☕
Now I will wait for a few months again for the 0.9 release, for the meantime I'll play other ones. Good job on the other game of yours as well, although it was a total cliffhanger for the ending haha

I am playing on a mac and have had no problems. Been playing since 0.4 as well and every update has run perfectly.
I just wanted to say that this game is absolutely stellar! I love the work you've put into it, it's too good for words!
I have one question/request of sorts. Do you think that there could be an option in a future update to change the skin color of the MC Orion? Not saying he has to be fully customizable or anything, but maybe just an option to make his skin tone darker, or some sort of dark-skinned alt?
I know this may be an odd request, but as a black guy playing, I'd just love to see it. If you're unable to, it's fine. I'll still support this game to the best of my abilities!

I played the Stanley Parable but it became super boring after a while - the concept was nice but the execution was half-assed
