You really should try it out, along with Cari's other game Once In A Lifetime. Unlike quite a few VN, his are full of intriguing story depth, humor, references and twists. The are Lewd scenes and they are good but honestly, my PC is so potato it can't render the animated scenes without starting another great London Fire and yet I still wait with anticipation because his story writing is pure gold. You wouldn't regret giving his VNs a shot🤗

Missed opportunity to add easter eggs for the nickname choices when you're in the army scene with the WRE. I tried "the founder", "colonel wagner", "caribdis", "your mom", "Calypso", "thanatos". No nickname easter eggs!?! Come on!!
Also during the (SPOILER) sex scene on the beach with Dalia you accidentally mixed the sfx into the music. So you can't mute the music without muting the sex sounds. I assume that's unintentional.

Hello. I previously left a couple of comments about how amazing previous versions were, which you replied to. The game is still as perfect as it can get. I also mentioned back then I'd join on patreon as a supporter, and I am glad I did.
Anyways, I'll leave some thoughts about the new update if you'd like to hear them although with how popular the game got, maybe it'd be a better idea to join discord, lol.
New update is perfect. That's all. It got a little freaky at times since the MC acts and says things exactly as I would, which adds onto the immersion. Additionally, if you read this I also wanted to say I really hope Calypso doesn't end up being just a fling. I understand she's still somewhat treated as an NPC of sorts in the game, but judging by the ending it's hard to say. Regardless, it doesn't feel right that at this point she would be just another fling like Maat or Eva, especially with what was said, and how the MC grew and their relationship in general. That would really suck!

Other then that absolutely cinema. Even after rushing the story it took me up to 6pm to 7pm up to 5 am in the morning to be half way their to the story this is a banger story man. Even though I played this game like a year ago it still amazing to me.
Small spoiler for OIALT: You actually weren't able to customize your haircut. Since all images in both Eternum and OIALT are pre-made, offering customization would mean that the game has to include every image & animation with the MC in it multiple times. That's a lot of effort, no game of this kind does it.

I know many comments probably mention the same thing but honestly I had to mention it myself, although for the average player of any videogames or visual novels might shy away with one with intimate scenes, but truly the plot is masterfully cooked up. This genuinely has better plot than half the new gen anime produced in the past few years and it doesn't get recognised enough, this in my opinion could turn to be a very huge game that rivals the popularity for other visual novels like doki doki. The plot genuinely has you interested the whole way through and every part of the game is there for a reason, whether it is to progress the main character's relationship with his loved ones or sneaking around to find clues for gems, it's all as important, unique and all comes together nicely to make the game. I genuinely hope this can become mainstream and appreciated by everyone else.

I wanted to recommend this game to some of my friends but I know they won't like it because of those scenes. I tried recommending this game to my girlfriend but she doesn't wanna play it since it has porn in it, but she asked me if this game has a non-explicit version because from what I told her she was very interested.
You're not the first who's bringing this up. I'm not sure what Cari's stance is on this this, maybe he'll follow up on it later. I would say that the "adult" part of Eternum is deeply interwoven into the game and while someone surely could make adjustments to supress it, it would produce a shadow of the original experience.
It's a bit like the discussion of adding an easy mode to Dark Souls. There surely is some demand for it, but I doubt that the original creator will ever step up and do it himself. This one will prbly be up to the community to do if demand is high enough.
About your girlfriend, I have heard of a lot of people who had played Eternum with their girlfriends. It is targeted at men but also unusually popular with women, so maybe you can convince her to give it a shot, with an open mind. Maybe this video can help. Though be warned, girls usually like gay AVNs and you might be asked to reciprocate :)
I don't think it will necessarily produce a worse experience. By toning down the scenes I meant not showing full penetration, just like they do in the movies with 18+ rating. Also i'm gonna show this video to my girlfriend, i'm sure she will like the game but she just refuses to because of porn :'), i hope this video will convince her.
Tell her to give it a try regardless of the sex scenes. She'll eventually come to like those scenes as well because they are well done and the girls have emotional connection with the mc
