I'm absolutely amazed. I went from instaling it for the lewd scenes to loving the game in every aspect. I haven't fucking laughed with a game as I did with this one in a while. The game is an absolute masterpiece, I can´t wait for more, it went all the way up to my top Renpy Games!
I have played a lot of Renpy games (I'm lonely) and Once in a Life Time was by far the best one I have played. One of the only game where the characters aren't just randomly attracted to the player for no reason. The story and characters are bizarre but logical at the same time. Jokes in these kinds of games are usually cringe but I have laughed a lot playing it. Some how, even with how good OiaLt is, Eternum is blowing it out of the fucking water. Amazing so far. The writing is a good bit better but the visuals and animation are absolutely stunning. Also Chang is best girl.

Reminds me of Ready Player One tbh, but like it's a real game. You know, it's just a 0.1 version, but I'm already in love with it. Can't explain all my emotions but long story short, you're a genius man. I was playing with joyful tears in my eyes the whole time! Everything is incredibly well done, hilarious humour with that DS reference and this Chop Chop guy got me laughing out loud in the middle of the night, adorable and loveable characters, intriguing story with some mystical stuff, and more and more and more. Man, thank you, just thank you. You are like Miyazaki in game industry. Looking forward to the future updates( ◜‿◝ )♡
Ok, Ive got to the end of current build and Im delighted! "Eternum" will be even better then "Once in a Lifetime" for sure. Definetely Caribdis does not stand still, he improves quite a lot in all aspects.
I don't know how you come up with this formula but the humor is always spot-on and the jokes never fell flat. The animations and visuals are absolutely phenomenal! The whole virtual world setting felt like Ready Player One but with a certain uniqueness in it and it's so amazing! The jumpscares with Nancy almost gave me a heart attack lol. The Dark Souls 3 gag had me laughing so hard everytime it comes up, but what probably caught me by surprise the most was the appearance of Towa-sama's original outfit and what happened to the girl wearing it.
All in all, I absolutely loved this game, the plot is simple at the beginning but it gradually becomes complicated as the story goes on and by the time you reached the chapter end, you'd have more questions than answers which is amazing as it leaves you from wanting more. Definitely worth the 5-star rating!
P.S.:
Don't let me get started how absolutely blessed we are that this masterpiece of a game is free to play despite how much time and effort you have put into it. You totally deserve all the support that you can get, and more!

No, trust me that there's going to be a harem ending. Assuming that you've never played his previous game, which I suggest you should, it had a very wholesome ending. All waifus acquired. If you don't want any paths being blocked then, I suggest you download the walkthrough ( Guide ).
Well, based on Caribdis's previous game, It's highly likely that the ending of this game will have a harem route included, that is if you managed to remain in a relationship with the girls that you want to be part of your harem. And don't worry about options leading to a dead end, if Caribdis will imply the same system that they did with Once in a Lifetime, there will be plenty of choices that will be presented to you all throughout the game to help you steer clear of said dead end in order to achieve your desired ending (harem or just one specific girl). With that being said, I think it is safe to say that there's no need to hold yourself back from being attached to the characters that you like. But if you're still having second thoughts, I really recommend you to try Once in a Lifetime first since it will be much better if you experience it first-hand, also I cannot emphasize how amazing that game was. I hope my answer helped you somehow.

Around 3 months between updates, but I'm not sure about total duration since this one will be bigger than OiaLt, so I'm guessing it'll take a few years to complete it.

I may not be completely finished with the current content in the game yet, but I want to say a couple of thing before I get too sleep deprived to form coherent sentences. First of all, I've never actually managed to get a VN game after just its first version had been released, but obviously playing your first game made it an obvious thing to do. Therefore, I didn't really know what to expect from just v.01 and I do have to say that I didn't expect the current amount of content to be as large as it actually was. You must've been working your freaking ass off on this!
Secondly, just like your first game, the thing that sticks out the most is the humor. I may not be neither American nor British, but after analyzing different kinds of comedy, I would go ahead and say that the comedy style in both games are very typically British, and I honestly think that's been an advantage. It gives the humor an unusual "color", so to speak, without ever feeling like the originality is forced. And yes, I will still spell it like color, fight me!
And last but not least... Annie is freaking adorable!

I absolutely love the gentle horror aspect you gave to both this game and Once in a Lifetime. As someone who loves horror games, I can say with brutal honesty that the night-sequence (that's the spoiler-free way of describing it) gave me more chills than most horror games do. Good job!
I know getting massive praise isn't always a good thing as it tends to cause unnecessary stress and anxiety to a lot of people, in fact just saying that will probably make it worse, but; this game, with just version 0.1, is a massive jump from pretty much any other visual novel I have played to date. The story is incredibly enticing, although, I've always found cliff hangers a bit cheap (though I understand why they are present, especially in "early access" titles). The Visuals are a vast improvement from both Once In a Lifetime as well as pretty much every visual novel I have played to date, at least to my present memory. I understand that too much praise can strain a development in certain circumstances, but I believe a proper review is just as impactful.
To give a proper review I would obviously need to wait for more updates, but as of now it is a solid game and well worth your time to play even as it is at Version 0.1. I massively look forward to the next update and it's one of the few games on Itch that makes me devastated that I cannot afford a Patreon, or similar, subscription.
This has got to be one of the best games I have played. when I saw that the creator of Once in a lifetime is making a new game I knew this was gonna be good.
I have barely played 15mins into the game and I don't think I have laughed that fucking hard in a long time! I loved your last game and was excited when I saw you announce this one and so far it is living up to what I loved so much about Once in a Lifetime! Models are stunning so far, the wit and humor slays me, and the story quickly grabs your interest! I cannot wait to see where this one goes!

I massively look forward to the next update and it's one of the few games on Itch that makes me devastated that I cannot afford a Patreon, or similar, subscription.

I have barely played 15mins into the game and I don't think I have laughed that fucking hard in a long time! I loved your last game and was excited when I saw you announce this one and so far it is living up to what I loved so much about Once in a Lifetime! Models are stunning so far, the wit and humor slays me, and the story quickly grabs your interest! I cannot wait to see where this one goes!
