I just finished Once In A Lifetime and I must say Caribidis is truly a masterful story writer. I cannot remember the last time I had genuinely gotten attached to characters from a game and felt so emotional at an ending to a game (best friend Stabby Mike for life). Caribdis has brought forth a wonderful story in OIALT and from what I've seen in Eternum so far they're doing it again. I am so excited to see the finished project and hope everything goes well for the creator of these games because they brought happiness and a great fun time to myself and others :)
i think adding a bloody defloration option in the game would be good and a huge turn on for some players. i mean Eternum's Annie, Dalia, Penelope and Luna are virgins right? cmon dev! hehe
I remember finishing OIALT without any black girl. Can you add ebonies in Eternum? or just add more multi racial diversity? I really like the arab looking girl in OIALT, the daughter of the rich guy, forgot the names.
Caribdis i just had to say that Eternum is absolutely phenomenal everything that was in once-in-a-lifetime is in Eternum The consistent Humor, The interesting plot, The amazing characters And To be honest This first installment of Eternum is better than most finished games of the same genre i don't know how you manage it i got to admit i had my doubts about this game but all of them vanished within 10 minutes into the game there is just so much potential here and i know that you will no doubt satisfy us all with the next chapter Of Eternum Good Luck and God Speed
I agree with everything this guy said, however as much as I loved the previous game, this easily has the chance to be so much better already.
One thing to think on though, with the ambush on the guy in the dungeon, after my first playthrough I went back and attacked early to see what would happen, the way it plays out doing so should have saved her armor as I did it before he destroyed it, so for continuity change the scene so she still gets hit, or change it so you can save her armorial, maybe giving her an advantage when she goes after the second brother which could lead to a reason for the #1 player to not ignore you when you try to leave

if i can remember it right in OIALT, i think the MC is the only one who had sex scenes with the girls, i would really like CHANG of Eternum to have his own scenes too, for example, with that she-hulk girl! but She-Hulk girl is the one fucking Chang. hahaha. Cmon Dev!
OIALT had smooth sex animations on my phone running marshmallow with 3G ram. But sex animation with Eve in Eternum was lagging(not smooth). Is it the resolution code or something else? Can you make it flow smoother? I mean OIALT was handsdown the best Adult game I have played and completed so far. I just want more content on the pregnancy though, and not just to be revealed on the ending. hehe
I started using videos instead of sequences in order to create better and longer animations, but I guess that means some phones could experience some lag. Sorry about it 😔
oh okay, but how do u do it? is it "sequences" first then you convert them into videos? or is it already just videos in Eternum?? if it is sequences turned into videos, i guess you should stick to just sequences. hehehe. might save you the file size?? hehehe
oh okay, amazing developer anyways! since i can see a glimpse of how ambitious this game is storyline wise, i think you should add postgame content that is "OpenWorld". About the pregnancy content in OIALT, it was only shown on the ending when they gave birth, you can add more content on it in Eternum POST GAME, for example, showing the pregnancy phase of the belly swelling. this only happens ofcourse if MC decided to creampie the girl and has successfull fertilization. "repeatable content" too. Hehe

This is the 3rd visual novel that got me hooked so hard and i've tried a lot!
Just one thing: i think the sounds in some situations are either too low or too loud, noticed it when the ringing effect took place on server log in.

When you said that it would be better than OiaLt I was skeptical, but you did it ;). I'm still in the process of guiding that Cthulhu adventure on OiaLt's main story and now that Eternum has been released I've fell in love with Eva, hahaha, her scene is something so especial, the music, her philosophy about reality, her body, it is something otherworldly astonishing. Thanks for giving those masterpieces to humanity, I can only wish you success in your game dev journey. With Eternum release I've now gathered all my friends to play both of your games and they are surprised as well, even with the amount of compliments I gave to your games. As a fan of your games I very look forward to this new game of yours! But I have some suggestions. I hope you could be able to avoid a deus ex machina esque type of ending such as the one in once in a lifetime. It was good and all but it felt too much of a chosen one or child of the prophecy type of story which made it pretty predictable. I could assume that this game would go through a similar route yet differrnt. It would also be great if you avoid making it feel like the mainstream isekai harem genre since the game already feels isekai ish and obviously has a harem. I wouldn't mind whatever you would do with the game since this is your world and you can do whatever want to, these are just some of my suggestions. If you've already planned everything out then please don't bother trying to take these suggestions to heart.
Also when I try to check on the points of a character it sucks me in there and doesn't let me out, just a small bug I found that would probably be easy to fix (or not, coding is a pain)
I have troubles expressing how much I have been mesmerized by both this and Once in a Lifetime. Its shocking how entertaining and touching both stories are. You actually can feel the love between the MC and the girls and this is not sth easy to achieve in a hentai game after all. I think the best review you can get about this type of game has already been said multiple times "The game is so good it could do without the H content" :) I consider myself a tough guy when it comes to feeling emotions and no other book/movie/game got to me like the ending of Once in a Lifetime. Something like that really happens once in a lifetime (how ironic and true). If you like I could help (for free) with translation of both games to Polish (perhaps not a popular language, but I believe all people should have a chance to live through this masterpiece of a script) of which I am a native. I have a CAE certification to make sure no subtle jokes or situations get skipped and machine translation would be a crime to say the least.

Of course it is a colossal amount of work, it's a translation after all. People expect it to be easy thinking "how hard can it be to just change the language" and even if they finish you end up with something bleak and bland. A proper translation requires not only language skills but also situational approach. You can't translate jokes as they are, you need to adjust them to language background.(The same applies to drubbings and believe me, our polish Shrek rolls over the English version) I'm not expecting it to take me a day :D TBH the worst ones to translate are technical manuals because you need to understand the technology the manual describes and you cant loos the meaning during the translation process. What I am asking for is a chance to prove to you not all translators fail a quest like that.
You know, there's a lot right with this and Once in a Lifetime but one of the things that most get wrong is the MC. Why does the MC look like he's just finished up a 3 week meth binge? I sincerely wish more effort would be put into making the MC looking at least normal. Cool, you gave him a shredded body, but the face just got phoned in.
Now if I can be a bit more serious here, I really liked Eternum so far, the scary parts gave me literal chills, the funny parts feel organic and natural, that make them even funnier, like the Dark Souls gag, the premise and the exploration of it, just by showing the Cyberpunk world with Annie and then the Medieval World with Dalia, you know you have an enormous potential for the premise, the music is as good as it was on OiaL, the characters feel natural, you remember them, you stop thinking about them as code lines and start doing it as people, with their problems and their goals.
Watch out! Here come Caribdis with ANOTHER masterpiece, I just expected a scene with Dalia or Annie tbh, btw keep the good work and give us ANOTHER masterpiece like you always do

The twinkle twinkle little star version is one I've never heard of, and the song during the Eva scene was so good that I was just as much emotionally invested in the scene as I was... uh... otherwise invested. I've looked for a full version of the song all over the internet but have found nothing.

From personal experience when I was younger, I was told a friend of my parents that I knew, had died in his sleep... turned out years later it was a suicide by hanging due to depression, and I was being protected from the darker truth.. I suspect that's what may be revealed in a later chapter...
It's no secret that his death was connected to his "excommunication". It's been established that even the government doesn't lay their hands on whatever happens inside. Whether it be out of fear or cooperation with Eternum. Whatever the case, this will be a great game.

No, it's already just videos. Sequences limited the lenght of the animations to 1-2 seconds at most, that's why I had to change it

more likely the plot involves a deadly secret when excommunicated from the game. seems to follow a lot better than being stressed.
