Hey Caribdis, I wanted to let you know about something. When you show the sniper rifle firing, it shows the entire cartridge being fired. Look up in google the parts of a cartridge, only the "bullet" part is actually fired, the casing is left behind because it simply holds the charge that pushes the bullet out. Since that looks like a bolt-action rifle the casing shouldn't eject either, so it would simply stay inside the rifle until the shooter cycles it.
I was actually going to say exactly this, but I decided to check the comments first. It cracked me up cause it seemed so out of place, but I'm still loving the game. Amazing work, and the soundtrack really fits all the way through!
Ok,so anyone who tries to claim they didn't download this game to have something to fap to is just lying to themselves, but I have to say, the writing in this game is actually really excellent. Seriously you need to look into writing more. I usually hate the music in most of these independently made games because they usually are very generic and annoying, but you actually made REALLY good choices for music most of the time. Seriously man, this "porn game" has surprised me A LOT. The characters are surprisingly very well written. I'm actually feeling really connected with some of them, especially Luna. The conversation where you ask about her gloves the second time and she takes them off actually is VERY similar to a conversation I've had with someone I was VERY close with... Hopefully the game relationship ends better though... Anyway, I can't think about that right now (dammit, too late...), anyway, good job with the game man...

A lot of these assets are prepackaged with whatever program they are using to render these scenes and animations. I've noticed some locations/backgrounds are shared between different independent adult games.
Chapter 1 was just the buildup. That ending bit was simply amazing, holy shit. I can tell you had fun making this. And Chapter 2? Better than one. I really love progressive rating when it comes to chapters. Incredible work honestly. Don't stop the grind and take your time.

The story on itself is totally absorbing with an awesome script so far, great animations and characters are so stylish! Even if the adult scenes are not so many for now (and that is totally ok since you have to build up that story) there are really great. And if this game follow OIAL's path I'm certain that the following will be worth it!

I have to admit, when I first came across Once in a Lifetime, I was impressed! The characters had so much personality, they felt real. When I heard about "Eternum", I got really excited because I could tell from one glance at the rendered promo photo, that this was going to be another amazing game. What I did not know, was that it was going to be even more realistic and that the characters were going to be even more in depth with personality and the parts they would play in the story. I LOVE THE GAME! I cannot wait for V0.3 to come out! The game is honestly so good, I can't help but wonder if it is on Steam? If not, it should be!
I got a little sad when I started getting into the depths of Alex's path! It is very good but makes me want more! Also Luna and Alex are my favorite characters not only because they are hot, but because their personality is so good!
One thing that I wondered about is if you could keep up the emotion involved with Luna and Alex's path, and for those that still have both paths, make it possible to be in a harem with the two girls. I know it might sound weird but they both are sort of similar to me in terms of needing emotional support and I think that It would be really hot for the two characters to be in a harem together.

The game is great. Originally came to it from Tiktok, was interested because of the appearance of Ion, stayed for the plot. I think most other games I've played other games made with Ren.Py and those are usually silent, the background music is a huge change in experience.
Story: 8.5/10
The story is great. Really love the concept. One thing that I really like is how you can remove the NSFW scenes, adjust some of it (in Annie's case) and it's still a great story. There's a lot of characters just being into the MC too easily but overall, it's fine. Can't wait to see the story progress.
Gameplay: 8/10
The gameplay is fine, but I play on mobile so it feels a little clunky. One thing that's bugging me a lot is that the others say to ask for the gloves of Luna if you give her a cat and yet she gets greyed out. Additionally, Alex's option greys out regardless of the choices during the visit to her home. I'm not sure what to do since I've tried different options and it always greys out. The game also ends abruptly while you're with Alex so I'm not sure if it can still be fixed. Hopefully this is just a minor bug that can be fixed in the future.

TL;DR: This is a good game. The story is engaging, the dialogue is well written and the characters are believable enough to suspend my disbelief. And yes, the sex scenes are pretty good too.

Full review + criticisms:
As of version 0.2, I have only seen one actual sex scene (and I'm about 80% sure I didn't miss any others), and a few other softcore scenes, and they've all been very well-animated and shot.
If you played Caribdis's other game, Once in a Lifetime, you will notice the huge graphical improvements in Eternum. The lighting is great, and the models are incredible, especially their faces (my god, Luna has the prettiest computer-generated face I've ever seen, not even exaggerating.)
As for gameplay, this will be your run-of-the-mill visual novel. No RPG elements, no turn-based battles, and in my opinion that's for the best, since the game is heavily focused on the story, which as I've already stated, is of good quality. There's also the brand-new Gallery feature, which makes it much easier to rewatch the sex scenes you've unlocked, instead of having to scroll through 10 pages of save-files.
Eternum has a lot better cinematography and poses compared to Once in a Lifetime. The animation's quantity and quality has also greatly improved, not just in the sex scenes, but also in important story beats, which is used to great effect.
Going back to graphics, the environments in this game are extremely well-made. You can tell Caribdis spent a fuckton of time carefully selecting assets and placing them one by one until they could create these detailed worlds. (Or maybe they used pre-made scenes in which case I will sound very stupid but either anyway good job to whoever did the scene design). The premise of the story allows the game to believably take place in a huge array of different settings, so there's a little bit for everyone.
Now, for the writing: It's quite good. There's a lot less of the unexplained falling-in-love-with-the-protagonist type moments and the women are written more realistically, and usually not in a way that lets the MC get away with whatever borderline sex-criminal idea pops into his head. However, if you played Once in a Lifetime, you will notice that a lot of characters are almost spiritual successors to their counterparts in Once in a Lifetime. The group of women the protagonist initially finds himself in is almost the exact same structurally (A MILF mommy and two step-sisters, except that this time, the mommy is actually the protag's old babysitter, and the sisters are her daughters + a female childhood friend that wasn't in OiaLt). Of course, this doesn't automatically mean they're bad characters. I like them, in fact. The protagonist is almost the exact same person as the first game, though I can understand why that is, seen as there aren't many other character types that could fit as the man in a harem environment. And to be fair, not every character in Eternum can be paired with every other character in OiaLt, but I can try to explain it to the best of my ability.
Nancy: 65% Carla, but she's got a much more open and cool attitude.
Dalia: 90% Lauren, but she looks like Judie, and the other 10% is new.
Penelope: I honestly could not tell you, but she's like, 20% Rebecca I guess? Penelope is pretty much the hardest character to describe. She's cool, though.
Annie: 90% Judie, but with an extra helping of shyness and a bunch less confidence.
Luna: She's my favorite. Lauren was my favorite in OiaLt, so I guess that means I have a thing for brunettes, but I already knew that. Anyway, I digress. Luna is introverted, book smart and kind. So a little like Judie, I guess. But she has some other quirks that make her almost a wholly different character. Very cool, I like her.
Nova: So... picture uhh... I-Iris, I think? Uhhhh... but like... more uhh... wild, I guess...?
Alex: Tsundere-type, tattoos, kinda tomboy-ish but not really once you get to know her, that kinda character. I like her.
Eva (Bonus Character): (╹ڡ╹ )
There's also one more character slot in the Relationships screen, but they have yet to appear.
I also have a random statement to make: I think it's great that women that don't fit into the "ideal," hourglass, firm tits and round ass body type are no longer demonized by every single character, like they were in Once in a Lifetime. Of course, that's still mostly the case for the protagonist, since the hourglass figure is most players' preference. Still, there's a particular character that's super into a particular body-builder type girl, and that's nice step in the right direction.
Now, the criticisms. They are mostly minor QoL things that are probably easy to fix.
I remember reading somewhere during the tutorial that text can be hidden by pressing H on PC, but as far as I know, there's no way to do it on Android, which is the platform I use. So if you could add it, that'd be nice.
The Relationships menu could use some QoL improvements, though the most notable problem I can think of off the top of my head is that when I select one of the girls, then press return, it exits the menu entirely, instead of going back to the "Girl Select" screen, or whatever you wanna call it. That has made it very annoying to use in some occasions.
Auto-forward speed is way too slow even when setting the slider to the max value, so it would be nice if that limit could be increased.
That's about it, I finished playing the content for 0.2 a couple days ago, so my memory isn't all that fresh.

I haven't tested this in Eternum, but you can hide text in most Ren'Py games on Android by swiping down on the screen. That should alleviate one of the criticisms, though I also know you can have a standalone button to hide, so that's also a possible solution.
Bra-fucking-vo. This is more entertaining/engaging/interesting than most movies I've seen. I don't even know how many times this made me laugh, scared, or genuinely feel for the characters. Thank you so, so much for this experience! Beautiful work!

man, I downloaded the game to play a porn game but man I got addicted to the story and graphics man. I liked once in a lifetime but the graphics in eternum is on a different level. I was so upset the game ended so soon. I mean it had quite a content but still, felt like it could have had more. But I get it you had Eternum in development. I will try to support the game development with however I can. I am 10x excited to play it, however I would love to play the complete version. From the comments I see you mentioned it could take several years to complete this game development. So I am left with no choice I see :)

They're not, we just use the same software to create it ^^

Ren'py is the software. It uses Python and is made for making visual novels.
Ren'py is used to write the VN itself, but Honey Select 2 is used to render the images. The last one was the one Caribdis was refering to.

The group of women the protagonist initially finds himself in is almost the exact same structurally (A MILF mommy and two step-sisters, except that this time, the mommy is actually the protag's old babysitter, and the sisters are her daughters + a female childhood friend that wasn't in OiaLt). Of course, this doesn't automatically mean they're bad characters. I like them, in fact. The protagonist is almost the exact same person as the first game, though I can understand why that is, seen as there aren't many other character types that could fit as the man in a harem environment. And to be fair, not every character in Eternum can be paired with every other character in OiaLt, but I can try to explain it to the best of my ability.
Nancy: 65% Carla, but she's got a much more open and cool attitude.
Dalia: 90% Lauren, but she looks like Judie, and the other 10% is new.
Penelope: I honestly could not tell you, but she's like, 20% Rebecca I guess? Penelope is pretty much the hardest character to describe. She's cool, though.
Annie: 90% Judie, but with an extra helping of shyness and a bunch less confidence.
Luna: She's my favorite. Lauren was my favorite in OiaLt, so I guess that means I have a thing for brunettes, but I already knew that. Anyway, I digress. Luna is introverted, book smart and kind. So a little like Judie, I guess. But she has some other quirks that make her almost a wholly different character. Very cool, I like her.
Nova: So... picture uhh... I-Iris, I think? Uhhhh... but like... more uhh... wild, I guess...?
Alex: Tsundere-type, tattoos, kinda tomboy-ish but not really once you get to know her, that kinda character. I like her.
Eva (Bonus Character): (╹ڡ╹ )
There's also one more character slot in the Relationships screen, but they have yet to appear.
I also have a random statement to make: I think it's great that women that don't fit into the "ideal," hourglass, firm tits and round ass body type are no longer demonized by every single character, like they were in Once in a Lifetime. Of course, that's still mostly the case for the protagonist, since the hourglass figure is most players' preference. Still, there's a particular character that's super into a particular body-builder type girl, and that's nice step in the right direction.
Now, the criticisms. They are mostly minor QoL things that are probably easy to fix.
That's about it, I finished playing the content for 0.2 a couple days ago, so my memory isn't all that fresh.

As for the criticisms, all of them are related to android version, which makes sense because that version is harder to test for me (since I develop everything on PC and the port it made later). However, I'll try to look into it

I haven't tested this in Eternum, but you can hide text in most Ren'Py games on Android by swiping down on the screen. That should alleviate one of the criticisms, though I also know you can have a standalone button to hide, so that's also a possible solution.

man, I downloaded the game to play a porn game but man I got addicted to the story and graphics man. I liked once in a lifetime but the graphics in eternum is on a different level. It's a pity I can't support you by paying money coz I'm just a college student right now. But I wish you the best man. Man, I was looking for a fap game, but never knew I would fall in love with the characters. Judie, Lauren, Aiko and Carla stole my heart altogether. Wish I had a gf like Lauren (or Judie) ;)
I was so upset the game ended so soon. I mean it had quite a content but still, felt like it could have had more. But I get it you had Eternum in development. I will try to support the game development with however I can. I am 10x excited to play it, however I would love to play the complete version. From the comments I see you mentioned it could take several years to complete this game development. So I am left with no choice I see :)
