For your first question my friend no one really knows. CARIBDIS said in discord that the game will have multiple versions so it will not finish in 1.0 like Once in A Lifetime as for your second question the game is currently at 38% if you want to be up-to-date I suggest you join CARIBDIS discord and for your last one when the 0.9 come out just change the current rpa file of this version with the new one and maybe the APK too so you can update it hope my tips are helpful 😊

Hello i just recently downloaded this game and started playing and after reading for a few days the game started crashing randomly, i have no idea whats the issue cause i have a completely new pc with 32 gb RAM and 4080 super graphics card, so its no way a hardware issue, anyone have any ideas?
Game just crashes off itself, i just recently found some tips how to fix it and now after trying all of them like putting the zip files in programx86 (it worked for awhile but stopped working just now) i been turning off the internet aswell and reading while its off and bunch of other stuff but allways in the end it keeps crashing ,not sure if Windows 11 is to blame but its starting to get kinda redicioulous
An amazing game from an incredible dev. I just finished Once in a Lifetime after catching up to the current version of this game. I have never loved a game so much that i honestly dont even know what to say in this review. Like if youre reading this right now and you havent caught up to the current update AND played all of Once in a Lifetime, please god do yourself the service of playing both of these game.

It depends I think. CARIBDIS is working fast on it if no problem arises in the days to come and he stays in good health then I estimate it will be released in late September or mid October but that's just my estimation no one knows what will happen

I'm positive that this is the best visual novel I've ever played. And so far, it may be one of my favorite pieces of fiction in this genre from any medium.
The setting is well crafted and interesting, with lots of cool twists and turns with effective foreshadowing and lampshading as needed. It's not too heavy on the exposition and keeps moving forward through character conversations and actions. Too many developers rely on big blocks of uninteresting text to tell their stories, but Eternum's world comes to life through its colorful characters. It leaves me craving more. Top-notch writing.
I won't comment too much on the flavors of spice presented since that's more subjective, except to say that they are portrayed very well. The animations and visuals are excellent all around. But the thing that makes them work so well is the context, the framing, the dialogue, and the tone. It's your typical harem game with college-age young adults we've seen a hundred times, but it's so wholesome and sincere that it just makes me feel nice while playing it. The characters, even the non-sexualized ones, are really funny and endearing and a joy to spend time with. I cheer every time the shopkeeper comes back into the story, and there are many other examples.
I also appreciate that there aren't complicated game mechanics like character stats or an inventory. Even the money you earn seems to be more like a story gate than an actual number you need to worry about. It's all about the story. The branching paths, as far as I can tell, amount to little beyond locking the player out of content with specific characters if they pick the wrong choice. However, I will admit to feeling a sense of satisfaction when I'm able to easily know what options to pick because I know the characters so well. The choices are like a quiz to see if you've been paying attention, and if you get it right, that leads to better outcomes with the love interests. Some folks may not like that, but it didn't hamper my enjoyment in any way. Thankfully, there is a good amount of feedback in the writing to let the player know if they've made a good choice or not, making it obvious when you need to rollback and pick something different.
The only mild criticism I can manage is that some of the major plot events are glossed over and resolved more easily than I would like. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger that feels very important, with major implications for the story. However, those cliffhangers get resolved almost instantly in the opening screens of the following chapter. I'd love to see some of these major events, like what happened to the protagonist at the end of 0.7 to make larger waves in the narrative.
Overall, wonderful story. It's the kind of thing I'll keep archived on my hard drive and come back to every once in a while for fun. I cannot wait to see how this all plays out. And btw, if Caribdis would like a beta reader on the script, I'll sign whatever NDA they want. I'm an amateur self-published author writing similar types of stories, and I know the value of in-depth feedback.

Hey devs, first of this game was great a friend recommended it to me a few months back and I got hook from the lore I hope it can get better. Secondly you're doing a great job so you should rest from time to time. And lastly I have this trouble on my Android phone since my version is Android 14 it keeps crashing and tossing me out I tried everything but nothing worked. So I hope this gets fixed still haven't played this new update. Overall though it's good. Thank you for the game!
Have you played the latest content (0.8) if not then you should catch up on it- she does make a small cameo (no sex scene though). But yeah I want more of Maat- her character is interesting
I would highly recommend the passive walkthrough mod linked above. Works great, easy to install, will just highlight green or red choices to keep you from borking a romance path.
It will be boring using a walkthrough mod my advice is just to concentrate on the choices when they pop up and if you get confused and don't know what to choose just press the back button and make another choice also keep your eyes on the heart icon it will blink red when you make a right choice and grey out when it's a wrong one always remember you're romancing the characters so you need to know their likes and dislikes so to not fall in any wrong choice and I hope my explanation is helpful for to you 😊
I agree, conventional walkthrough mods that show the correct decision right away take all the fun out of it. Passive walkthrough mods wait for you to make a decision first and then give feedback if necessary, that's an improvement already.
Playing the game blind and just keeping an eye on affection point gains works with simple [+1/+0] decisions, but creative devs will often implement more intricate decisions where this trick won't work. Eternum has these too.
Right now I'm working on "Causality" mods, which are the ultimate compromise: They are very similar to passive walkthrough mods, but they are also a lot smarter, which allows for more player agency. They still soothe your fomo, but immersion wise, it feels almost as if you weren't using any guidance at all. I already created such a mod for Once in a Lifetime, try it if all this sounds interesting to you! I'm always looking for feedback.

Personally all the correct choices are very obvious haha, and you can just rewind if you mess up, not keep playing past it. Just start a new game, and use the guide. Or reload an old save, should always have a lot with these kinds of games.

Yes there is... All you have to do is replace the archive.rpa with the latest one in ixalon folder, after that your saves will be there but the game will continue to the latest version... Hope that helps...
Correct. It contains all the game's data, so if you replace it with the latest one, it'll work just fine without skipping from the start all over again, that is such a hassle so I tried and yes, it did work...
I'm like...idk, 8ish hours (I've lost track) into the game so far and just wanted to ask if there's ever some point where you're able to actually stop and choose what to do with your time, or if it's just one continuous story since that's how it's been so far. Which isn't a bad thing I guess, though typically when you open a game like this you aren't expecting like one sex scene within 2 or 3 hours x-x But at least the characters and story have been enjoyable so far anyway. I like a nice buildup...though it's hard to plan any time around this game. Rip Kermi. The scream I scrempt as I knew exactly what was about to happen lol
it is a continuous story from what I have discovered. There is not really a save point, but you could technically stop at any time. If you want a stopping point, i'd reccommend stopping after doing something like a mission in eternum, or after maybe meeting with one of the girls
I get that, it's just I'm used to most games like this giving you the option to pursue different stuff at your leisure or have some sort of home point that makes each part of the story feel separated, so it's a lil awkward I guess. Maybe it's just that it feels like it's progressing very slowly this way.

I downloaded this game for the horny, but little did I know the experience I'd have. I fell in love with the game. I've felt so much. From genuine fear in the spooky sections, to tears, to loud and proud laughter. I'm enthralled, to the point I'm here for the story and less for the spice. This entire game would be peak without the spice, but its there to sell it even more. And God DAMN IT!! MVP CHANG!!! ALL MY HOMIES LOVE CHANG!! If there is ever a sequel, Chang better be in it. All I care about.

The Itch app can't download games this large, you should use a web browser to download it instead. Just copy and paste the URL at the top.

Eternum runs on Linux out of the box without runtime environments like wine; just run the .sh file.

I'm positive that this is the best visual novel I've ever played. And so far, it may be one of my favorite pieces of fiction in this genre from any medium.
The setting is well crafted and interesting, with lots of cool twists and turns with effective foreshadowing and lampshading as needed. It's not too heavy on the exposition and keeps moving forward through character conversations and actions. Too many developers rely on big blocks of uninteresting text to tell their stories, but Eternum's world comes to life through its colorful characters. It leaves me craving more. Top-notch writing.
I won't comment too much on the flavors of spice presented since that's more subjective, except to say that they are portrayed very well. The animations and visuals are excellent all around. But the thing that makes them work so well is the context, the framing, the dialogue, and the tone. It's your typical harem game with college-age young adults we've seen a hundred times, but it's so wholesome and sincere that it just makes me feel nice while playing it. The characters, even the non-sexualized ones, are really funny and endearing and a joy to spend time with. I cheer every time the shopkeeper comes back into the story, and there are many other examples.
I also appreciate that there aren't complicated game mechanics like character stats or an inventory. Even the money you earn seems to be more like a story gate than an actual number you need to worry about. It's all about the story. The branching paths, as far as I can tell, amount to little beyond locking the player out of content with specific characters if they pick the wrong choice. However, I will admit to feeling a sense of satisfaction when I'm able to easily know what options to pick because I know the characters so well. The choices are like a quiz to see if you've been paying attention, and if you get it right, that leads to better outcomes with the love interests. Some folks may not like that, but it didn't hamper my enjoyment in any way. Thankfully, there is a good amount of feedback in the writing to let the player know if they've made a good choice or not, making it obvious when you need to rollback and pick something different.
The only mild criticism I can manage is that some of the major plot events are glossed over and resolved more easily than I would like. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger that feels very important, with major implications for the story. However, those cliffhangers get resolved almost instantly in the opening screens of the following chapter. I'd love to see some of these major events, like what happened to the protagonist at the end of 0.7 to make larger waves in the narrative.
Overall, wonderful story. It's the kind of thing I'll keep archived on my hard drive and come back to every once in a while for fun. I cannot wait to see how this all plays out. And btw, if Caribdis would like a beta reader on the script, I'll sign whatever NDA they want. I'm an amateur self-published author writing similar types of stories, and I know the value of in-depth feedback.

Hey devs, first of this game was great a friend recommended it to me a few months back and I got hook from the lore I hope it can get better. Secondly you're doing a great job so you should rest from time to time. And lastly I have this trouble on my Android phone since my version is Android 14 it keeps crashing and tossing me out I tried everything but nothing worked. So I hope this gets fixed still haven't played this new update. Overall though it's good. Thank you for the game!

Have you played the latest content (0.8) if not then you should catch up on it- she does make a small cameo (no sex scene though). But yeah I want more of Maat- her character is interesting

It's not an issue actually. The character gets locked once you make a bad choice. You basically lose them for the rest of the story.
I would highly recommend the passive walkthrough mod linked above. Works great, easy to install, will just highlight green or red choices to keep you from borking a romance path.
It will be boring using a walkthrough mod my advice is just to concentrate on the choices when they pop up and if you get confused and don't know what to choose just press the back button and make another choice also keep your eyes on the heart icon it will blink red when you make a right choice and grey out when it's a wrong one always remember you're romancing the characters so you need to know their likes and dislikes so to not fall in any wrong choice and I hope my explanation is helpful for to you 😊
I agree, conventional walkthrough mods that show the correct decision right away take all the fun out of it. Passive walkthrough mods wait for you to make a decision first and then give feedback if necessary, that's an improvement already.
Playing the game blind and just keeping an eye on affection point gains works with simple [+1/+0] decisions, but creative devs will often implement more intricate decisions where this trick won't work. Eternum has these too.
Right now I'm working on "Causality" mods, which are the ultimate compromise: They are very similar to passive walkthrough mods, but they are also a lot smarter, which allows for more player agency. They still soothe your fomo, but immersion wise, it feels almost as if you weren't using any guidance at all. I already created such a mod for Once in a Lifetime, try it if all this sounds interesting to you! I'm always looking for feedback.

Lemme guess..Dalia, you probably didn't follow her after the competition? Or blabbed about her secret Beach? Or were a creep during the sandstorm? Alex you likely blew it and didn't go to her apt when she was sick. Annie could be a few things, NO clue how you screwed up with Nancy.
Personally all the correct choices are very obvious haha, and you can just rewind if you mess up, not keep playing past it. Just start a new game, and use the guide. Or reload an old save, should always have a lot with these kinds of games.

Yes there is... All you have to do is replace the archive.rpa with the latest one in ixalon folder, after that your saves will be there but the game will continue to the latest version... Hope that helps...

All the games data I think it's what makes the game running without it you won't be able to play the game with just the APK
Correct. It contains all the game's data, so if you replace it with the latest one, it'll work just fine without skipping from the start all over again, that is such a hassle so I tried and yes, it did work...

I'm like...idk, 8ish hours (I've lost track) into the game so far and just wanted to ask if there's ever some point where you're able to actually stop and choose what to do with your time, or if it's just one continuous story since that's how it's been so far.
Which isn't a bad thing I guess, though typically when you open a game like this you aren't expecting like one sex scene within 2 or 3 hours x-x
But at least the characters and story have been enjoyable so far anyway. I like a nice buildup...though it's hard to plan any time around this game.

it is a continuous story from what I have discovered. There is not really a save point, but you could technically stop at any time. If you want a stopping point, i'd reccommend stopping after doing something like a mission in eternum, or after maybe meeting with one of the girls
You can save at literally any time haha 😅 just open menu, save. Just loads back up exactly where you are.
I get that, it's just I'm used to most games like this giving you the option to pursue different stuff at your leisure or have some sort of home point that makes each part of the story feel separated, so it's a lil awkward I guess. Maybe it's just that it feels like it's progressing very slowly this way.

Annie is very cute and super pretty with an amazing figure, but she is a bit too small for me and there is somethign that pushes me away
Nanny is super hot and sexy and damn that body, but I am not really into women that are that much older than me
Penny is also super hot, sexy and has an amazing figure, but it is a but much imo

Luna is very pretty, super cute and has a very nice figure, but the vibe she gives off is just not for me
Alex is very hot and has an incredible figure, but her face is a bit too much of a hottie (best way for me to discribe it)
Nova is very cute, so super pretty and has an amazing figure on par with luna, alex and annie. But what pulls me towards her is her personallity, her face and hair and that everything is nicely proportioned to her height.
Wildcats is also a very good work, the plot is good, and the girls are very cute. I like it very much.

I downloaded this game for the horny, but little did I know the experience I'd have. I fell in love with the game. I've felt so much. From genuine fear in the spooky sections, to tears, to loud and proud laughter. I'm enthralled, to the point I'm here for the story and less for the spice. This entire game would be peak without the spice, but its there to sell it even more. And God DAMN IT!! MVP CHANG!!! ALL MY HOMIES LOVE CHANG!! If there is ever a sequel, Chang better be in it. All I care about.

You’re welcome and enjoy the game! My advice is to get through the first hour, past the café quiz, before judging the game. It may seem a little boring at first, but it picks up very quickly after that!
Is it possible to move my android save file too my windows PC? Because I've played the full game on my phone but the pc version feels so much better. I am not really willing to replay the whole game if i know how everything ends so would it be possible to just move my save file?
