I've played a lot of H games over the years. This one was one of the best. I'm giving up the genre for a variety of reasons. I wish I was able to complete this one. The H scenes could be absent and well the story in this game would still shine through. It's rare that You see a game in this genre with such meticulous love crafted into it. Sure the list excludes impactful games like Tetris and Mario, and leaves out franchises like COD, but in terms of pure enjoyment, story, and engagement i felt while playing them, Eternum earns its place.
Well since you named Skyrim you have to name Fable. For great graphics have to say Eternum, Serenty, Companion of Darkness, Fall of Angel’s. Just to name a few I have found on this gaming site.
In the 0.8 release, at least when run with the Ren'Py 8.3.4 engine, the music is kind of bugged for me. When it gets to this spot:

I'm not a big fan of downloading unfinished games as i get really impatient waiting for the next installment, especially since it's often the case that the next installment is months away. I wasn't really paying attention when i downloaded Eternum and only realized it was unfinished when I was close to the end of the current version.
That said, great story so far. I was burning through the game over the past few days, and I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. The characters are interesting and fun. I don't really have a character that I don't like throughout the series. And seeing the character growth from all of them is great too. They don't seem to be static characters that never change. Rather they seem to grow and mature and learn, which makes them far more relatable and realistic.
I hate that the game isn't completed as I'm now having to wait for the next version, but I do highly look forward to it.
I suppose if there's any critique i have aside from b!tching that I have to wait, it would be the lack of originality in the overall storyline. It's certainly not a copy/paste version of Ready Player One that just includes sx, but the idea very clearly comes from that.
Though, this isn't really a major criticism. As a writer myself, who's done a ton of world building for my own stories it's often very obvious what media inspired me. So this is definitely still very much a solid visual novel with great characters and writing regardless. Awesome job!
After Dalia's scene in 8.5.0, I genuinely think you must be some kind of generational wizard. The humor, the consistency, the writing, the passion—still absolutely top-notch. But now, with the insane improvements in graphics, motion, fluidity, and even cinematography, you're practically a Michelangelo Da Vinci fusion at this point. Fuck. I would have never imagined that HS2 could be pushed this far—it's nothing short of miraculous.

What started as (what I can only imagine was) a few lines of code, a freaking hentai game, and a dream has evolved into something truly extraordinary. I honestly enjoyed the story more then the porn scenes. Masterfully created! (The sex scenes were just a bonus.) It's honestly not just all porn and I appreciate a game that I can play for the Adult content and the story. Thank you for the game, please update it soon.
Drive says it has been downloaded to many times, Mega says I have to pay for an annual subscription ($200), and Pixel Drain has a 6GB limit (game is 6.71GB)
Retry drive, today, in this moment, it worked. Or have patience and start download with mega till 80%, pause it and tomorrow resume the last 20%. That's what I found working for me.
After use something as RAR to navigate through the zip files and it should be fine
Go to the other sites that have the game on other hosters or just keep trying going flight mode on n off until your ip address changes and mega reverts the quota thing

This game has become the biggest pain in the ass to download I have followed all the steps and the game still won't load and I have to reinstall it every time.
I know it's a perfect game for a fact but I can't install it on my new phone, Google drive says there is a problem with this file and after a few clicks I find out to many people downloaded it so I wait, and wait and the issue persists so I try MEGA, MEGA on other hand has a limit which takes couple hours to restart my allowed download amount and by the time it happens MEGA kicks me and the download so it's impossible. The third thingy simply keeps failing. Can anyone please help me
MEGA works, but has the limit. I recently helped some one on discord with this and it worked for them. This is what I told them: Get a VPN, start mega download - it says you reached the limit, then you turn on VPN and click for the download to continue, if it reaches the max again, change your VPN location again, continue download. Repeat as many times as needed and you have almost infinite MEGA download for free
You wouldn't happen to know a fix for when it displays an error when you go into the two hearts symbol saying stuff can't load? And that some images are missing?
If you're playing this on a PC, how do you update it when a new patch is released? And will your saved game from the previous version still work without any issues, like the typical error saying that an older version of the file cannot be used?
Your saves are in %APPDATA%/RenPy/(eternum folder) just like all other VN that run on RenPy To upgrade the game you just need to unzip the game version you want to play and run the .EXE from within. It will get the saves from the folder I mentioned above. Hope it helps
