It was very easy for me to substitue myself into Orion's point of view and understand what Dalia was thinking. This game is filled with humor, nice pacing, and entertaining world building. I was looking for an escape from reality and I found gold. This game really feels like a passion project made by someone with experience. Can't wait to see it finished, really it takes place in my top 3 VN.
This game is LEGENDARY. Legit the best VN I've played after DDLC and certainly one of the best adult games. The story is fantastic, the characters are all so entertaining and the visual work is top-notch; porn logic still applies sometimes and I don't know how the whole harem thing will work out once the girls find out about it but that's fine. My only question is I played the entirety of 0.5 and I didn't unlock the Blurred Realities scene - I have no idea where it could've been and I must've completely missed it so if someone knows please tell me and I just might replay the whole thing again! It's a Visual Novel game (not a porn game) that got pretty popular back in 2017 when it was released and it's my personal favorite VN of all time, tho keep in mind if you want to play it that it deals with a ton of sensitive / heavy topics like depression and s*icide, and it's also tagged as 'psychological horror'. Ive never made an account for a porn sight but i gotta how can anyone hate these characters "clichés" no shit maybe the way they act is but their stories are amazing(heavy spoilers)
the penelope scene where she gave up her dance for her mother at a young age honestly hit close to home having a mother who struggled so much reminded me of my own she made alot of sacrifices for my family and seeing penelope make a sacrifice for her mom even if in the big scheme of things it isn't important it was life or death to her at the time so her maturity to make what seemed to her like a big sacrifice for her mother was heartwarming
All the characters are lovable especially the best friend I'm drawing a blank on his name but he is a hilariously written characters and even though he comes off as a bit stupid he helps out the protagonist so much especially with the heist
Alex's backstory made me genuinely shed a tear the sceen with her and her grandmother was so heartwarming
There are also alot of unironic little nuggets of wisdom dropped all through the story and as someone who took a very long time to play through everything because they have a reading disability I payed very close attention because of how long I spent on the game
Luna is an amazing character she has a great dynamic with her father which caught me off gaurd the first time it happened heavily due to the use of sound design and music selection in this game being immaculate but their family is amazing and I loved every moment interacting with them
My biggest gripe is literally that there isn't more I'm currently saving up for some important things in my life so I can't support the creator sadly (I would if I could. You are doing great work bigman) but literally everything has been enjoyable there are so many references and even from the first few scenes I could tell if it keeps up this quality I want to play all the way through it the darksouls esc meme at the beginning had me rolling I was so excited because I was like oh the writer is just a dude he doesn't take everything to seriously which is a huge issue when some people writer erotica because they focus on making everything important which brings the vibe down like some people who write porn script I genuinely question if it is ai another thing I love about this is IT IS NOT ONLY PORN there is a story which some called predictable and yes there were cliche tropes but it was not predictable the spin on SAOs "you die in the game you die in real life" is really interesting it isn't just anyone can die it is more of a justice system where there are few laws but they are all punishable by death if broken (from my understanding so far) also the idea of someone who actually died being stuck in the "game" is amazing thanatos the God of the dead because that is literally what he is cathat wasn't predictable that was amazing foreshadowing of course I don't fully understand because there is still so much to be unraveled but please keep adding sweet backstories fun mysteries and little nuggets of wisdom because I am loving every GOD DAMN moment of this (you have got something bro and as an aspiring writer myself I can appreciate some raw talent I just hope eventually you can get on your feet enough to write a true novel without the need for erotica where you can focus your talents completely) good luck my friends and can't wait to play the next installment

Let's start this right because I have a lot to say about this game some bad and some good. So buckle up everyone it's about to get sexy... *clears throat* I mean bumpy.
First of all; the game is good so make no mistakes there, sure they might be some stolen ideas, sure it might have reused assets and sure the graphics isn't the best out there but all that aside this is definitely a hidden gem when it comes to porn games but I do have a few gripes with it and I will go over everything in sections down below so that people that doesn't want to read the full thing can skip to what they want to know. So, without further ado:
-STORY-
Yes we are absolutely starting with the story it's like the best thing in this game I promise to ease up on the drooling part... from both ends, and say that this is indeed something ripped from 'Sword Art Online' the anime and every other popular franchise that has this kind of premise and if it wasn't for that I am so damn intelligent, I could've enjoyed the story more than I did but sadly I know where this is headed and I knew it before it even started to take action. So yes, the story is a bit predictable but is that necessary a bad thing though? No, of course not, it doesn't bring it down one bit. The story has it's moments of being quirky, charming, comedic, sad and serious so it has a lot of mixed flavors. So it captivates you in a non-aggressive way. The person is leaning you into it slowly and methodically almost invisibly and it feels natural, nothing is forced upon the player (that's a good thing) so the writer is clearly familiar with writing stories and knows what he or she is doing. Natural writing is the best kind, nothing is too excessive either which you will see in 80% of the porn games to date. Of course there is a lot of *harks* "borrowed" ideas to make some events more eventful so there's definitely humor to be had and parodies to be seen but nothing feel out of place, Hell this game made me laugh out loud on more accounts than I can remember.
-CHARACTERS-
Here is where I stop being nice. As cliche as the story might be and all of it's events it comes nowhere near close the charisma and personalities with the presented characters of the game I would go as far to say that Luna might be the only one with a hint of originality to her but even that is stretching it. As so many games before have done, it starts off all sweet and nice with lollypops and sunshine but quickly turns into every character from every porn game out there. The main character is attractive with a gigantic cock (go figure, right...) with a nice guy attitude (someone who acts like a Romeo but has nothing other than sexual thoughts about everyone in the game, it's a bit overflowing... in more ways than one) with a positive and optimistic mind,who of which everyone adores. That's not say that there isn't anything positive to say. He has humor and some of the dialogues are really well written for him and the fact that you have choices to choose from really makes it good, I guess what I'm trying to say here is that it's a bit too easy to "woo" the girl(s). Now, don't get wrong idea here the choices you have and can do DOES MATTER to some extent but given as soon as the girl(s) sees your cock they turn into the most lewdest drooling slutty whores imaginable. I get that this is a sex game and all that but would kill to add some sort of romance into at all, instead of it just being about the cock being fucking huge? I wouldn't care if the main character had normal sized cock and the characters thought that it was big because of them being virgins or because they had been with guys with smaller or something but why is having any form of romance in a sex game so taboo? Given that it's just about the cock size and not about the person and the fact that every girl(s) turns sex-crazyis such a turn off for me. Anyways let's go over the roman- sex interests in this game:
Annie; is the adorable and shy one. Dalia; is the sporty and competitive one. Penelope; the I-like-it-rough and snobby one. Nancy; the motherly and experienced one. Nova; the intelligent and energetic one. Alex; the emo and aggressive one. Last but certainly not least Luna; the sad and lonely one.
Of course all of them are more or less cute and some even share some traits of being shy, Luna being my personal favorite of the bunch. But again despite have all those differences to them they are still a copy & paste - yes they all have different dialogues, yes they have different animations, yes they have their own sections in the game that makes them standout a bit but it doesn't hide the fact that it's a bit annoying for them to share so many similarities to one another especially when the cock comes out or should I say in, jeez...
-GAMEPLAY-
As you would expect it's just another visual novel with some elements of Point & Click but don't get too excited, it consists of just clicking to the next room or similar action(s). I would've loved for it to be more... engaging. With how good most of the other things are and the fact that creator is making bank on this, I would've expect a little more. Maybe in further updates more action-y things will be added.
-SEX SCENES/ANIMATIONS- Now we come to the saucy bits and something that most people wanna know about: "hOw ArE tHe sEx sCeNes", easy the tiger let's talk about animations first. You can probably guess since I mentioned animations that it is gonna have animations in the game - and that... they do! I have to admit that they are good they even added a bit of cinematography to the game which helps its case severely BUT not everything is roses and butt-plugs because the characters themselves when speaking to them aren't animated, they are just jpegs on the screen but they do have several pictures of them that they switch between so you could say they are a bit... animated? The graphics is good not the best but good definitely a passing grade that's for sure, I'd say somewhere around 6 or 7 on the scoreboard because there are a lot of reused assets (which I can fully understand) and some jagged lines here and there nothing too bad.Now for what you have been waiting for the magical, spectacular, amazing, mind-blowing... average mediocre sex scenes - yeaaah don't get your hopes up here buddy you can find better sex scenes on Rule 34 or on Pornhub if you wanted but doesn't detract from the game at all but something that does detract from the experience is that you can't choose what to do, remember what I said about this game having Point & Click elements to it? Well, they don't have that for the sex scenes instead you have to choose which scene to play and then watch it. It's bit depressing to see so many games with the same GUI and no interactivity as to choose: what you want to do with the girl, control the speed, changing camera angle, zoom-in/out etc. etc. giving the player a choice instead of turning the main character constantly to a bitch-boy, who gets constantly ordered around as long as he can get laid and that we get to see it in full glory.
YOU MUST COMPLY. How about fuck off.
-MUSIC/SFX-
Ah yes the music, it's not music to my ears. Since music is subjective and depends solely on whether people like that type of genre, I can't really say much about it other than it certainly doesn't resonate with me at all, so I did what a sane person would do and turned it off. SFX or sound effects if you don't speak game is basically nonexistent there are a few of them here and there but nothing good. Then we have that ear piercing fucking sound effect that the creator is using WAY TOO FUCKING OFTEN and doesn't realize that it's actually a damaging tone to the ear and NO I'm not kidding. That sound can quite literally give you tinnitus or worse shatter (damage) your eardrum and I wish that they would remove it from the game before a lawsuit happens.
-FINAL THOUGHTS-
This game is a hidden gem that isn't a lie - the story is rich and deep, the dialogues well-crafted for the most part, some good animations and it has some uniqueness to it especially with the humor. The only downsides are the horrible character copy & paste sex freaks, the lack of GUI options for the sex scenes and that the game doesn't have much in the way of action-y stuff. Now I know there is only so much one can do and yes I know that this is a Visual Novel but it leaves me wanting more from it and not just be like the rest which there are plenty of already.

I love how people are actually down-voting a positive review, I mean shit guys if you don't like the game stop playing it maybe? No one is forcing you. For your "complaint" about the story being unoriginal. Hate to break to you,but pretty much every story in human existence is in essence,unoriginal.Even the most iconic pieces of modern media(Like Lord of the Rings) had their inspiration from somewhere. I don't understand how that can be a point against the game in itself. Yes,the idea of virtual world is not new,but execution of an idea is what's more important. And I would say that Cari does a good job of that.
Not just how the base premise allows for a variety of story genres to to be in one VN,without it feeling jarring,he also does enough to expand on the consequences, good and bad of Eternum existing. Like how because of the in game currency having RL monetary value, some people actually made their living in the game. Which helps in worldbuilding and making it feel lived in. Or how like in any social game,there are assholes doing screwed up shit.
For gameplay...really? Saying that there's little to no gameplay in an adult visual NOVEL. The whole point of a VN is to experience it for the story and dialogue. I don't know if you're just trying to note it for the review(even then it still feels kind of pointless to mention that) or if you really expected to go in having this be gameplay-heavy. If it's the latter then that's on you for expecting the game to be something it's not when Cari clearly labels the game. Cari knows what his focus should be on and any tiny bit of mechanics are there to serve the story and atmosphere,which works out great especially in the horror focused sections. Any fleshed out mechanics would not serve the story Cari's telling and just take away time and attention. And the choices to me have the right amount of agency. Not too cryptic that you have to depend on a guide to get through(although that first Alex choice is an exception),but inuitive enough that if you pay attention to the character's personalities it's pretty easy to pick the right choices. And wanting the girls to be harder to woo..can't say anything against that,but I also don't agree with that.
And for the characters being "copy-paste" and "sex-crazed". I really can't agree with you here. Out of all of the sections,this is the one that felt the most disingenuous and overblown. Putting aside the fact that this is at the end of the day a porn game,one with way more plot than porn,but still a porn game,so dinging it for having some "porn logic" is really?
Having "unoriginal" characters is not,IMO a valid criticism.I can just put my same thoughts about that from the story section. Yeah, the basic archetypes are nothing new for AVN or general stories,but Cari's writing does a good job of fleshing them out beyond that,especially in the emotional scenes to make them feel believable. And speaking of that,I also think Cari for the most part does a good job of not only properly pacing the sexy scenes to their relationship growth with Orion,but having good in-character reasons for why they chose to do it. Nancy goes faster than the other girls,but that makes sense because of her bolder personality and how repressed she is than either Alex or Luna who took longer to get their first sexy scene. And the times they don't are more the execption than the rule like you seem to think it is.
And feel like the only one that maybe fits that description is Dalia as I'm not a fan of how you start her path and later on with the bet,but that's more due to the timing,but other than those,her path is fine. I don't know how,when you talked about the different dialogue,animations,and the focus scenes for each girl,you still came to the conclusion that,nah, they're just copy-pasted sex dolls of each other,which made me roll my eyes. Apparently I didn't play the same game you did.
So yeah,I think this is overblown.As for Orion while his basic personality traits are typical of the AVN MC,Cari's writing makes Orion feel a lot more genuine and fleshed out. Orion may not be Cam (TFTUV) in terms of a defined personality with flaws and arc,but he still has enough character that I want to root for him.
You review starts off alright,but towards the end in the character section,it's goes straight into pure nitpicking for stuff you personally dislike and not objectively rating the game for the stuff it's trying to do. If you want to convince people your review is constructive criticism,maybe next time don't word it in a passive-aggressive way and blame others for not liking that.

I just finished the 0.4 story and attempted to update to 0.5 and when I opened the 0.5 version of the game it crashed within a few seconds of me doing anything (playing on Android btw) and was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this

This is definitely the best visual novel in this site, I don't have to look at anything else. If this had zero erotic content/sex scenes, I would still say it's the best, the story and characters are just way too good. I can't wait to see the end of this game and how everything will go!
+ I think it would be cool if you added a sandbox gamemode (<?) when the game is finished, with extra scenes with the girls or something like that. But still, the game is insanely good. Keep it up!
I signed up for a silly nsfw game for my degenerate ass that wouldn't make much sense beyond enough to make H-scenes happen. What I got is one of the best visual novels I've ever played (and I haven't even finished 0.5 just yet) that made me emotionally involved with characters and many times hit me right into feels. It also unironicaly made me thinking about changing my lifestyle a bit, maybe even going to gym! Me! A GYM! Totally not what I expected and wanted! 1/10
But now for real, it's beyond me what gems of a games I manage to find on this site, you Sir definitely have talent. Each girl has very well written personality and something memorable which makes me very conflicted on who I should focus my attention (though we all know the best waifu is Chang 😆). It's also the first time I see so much replayability possibilities in this kind of game, and since I bet (or hope at least) the relations with one girl will influence others (eventually it already happened and I didn't spotted it since it's my first playthrough), it will make it even greater.
H-scenes and humor are also very well balanced, so far I didn't have any feeling that joke was bad or unneeded. I also didn't feel even ONCE that I was wasting my time, which is hard as hell to achieve (speaking from my overall gaming experience). You're aiming more for relations between characters and then go for hots instead of just dropping as much fanservise (tho I'm happy you found a way to implement it too, just in healthy amount) and then write the story around that. I respect that, especially since you're that good at it (at first I was disappointed that there was so little scenes in gallery, then a couple hours later I was surprised I didn't managed to unlock even half of it, and then, when I took a better grasp of what this game really is, I came to conclusion that goods like that should be dosed lmao).
Another great thing are graphics. I've NEVER seen VN with 3D graphics looking that good. Usually models I've seen were so bad that I used to pick VNs with hand drawn graphics only. And you made it look good enough to make me download it and then kept this level through my entire gameplay (I was fully expecting there will be downgrade after a while and oh boy how wrong I was 😆). That makes me wonder: how many people are working to make this game? 'Cause I will be hella surprised and impressed if all of this, both graphics and writing, is work of one person (even considering how long we have to wait for each update).
To sum it up, I'm really glad I found this game, and will throw few bucks on Patreon after I finish 0.5 (btw, I have no idea how far I am from finishing it, so out of pure curiousity: is the beginning of "heist arc" close to end of 0.5 or I still have much to play?). I love what you did and, as one Senate once said, I will watch your career with great interest 😁
When I played once in a life time I thought it was the best nsfw game like I loved that game and not because of the H scenes but because of the story it was just so entertaining and the when I started playing eternum I was thinking to myself that there was no way that games was going to be better but I was so wrong I love the story and you even improved the H scenes the story is amazing and again I think that the game is a work of art it's just crazy to me how the story gets 10 times better every update who's your favorite character mine is nova can't wait until you finish the game and I cant wait to see what you next project will be this game is so far amazing it gets 10/10 would definitely recommend
I just played 0.6 and I'm speechless... This version had everything. From an interesting plot development to amazing NSFW scenes. Haven't seen much of Luna, which is a bit sad... I Can't express how much i enjoyed Once in a life time,and Eternum is in many ways better, because Caribdis grew as an AVN Dev, I only miss the diferents points of views in the scenes especially the POV, but you can tell the Upgrade of the work and detail to every Picture, Chang made laugh the same way as the Jail partner in your First game , hope the best for this project and for you, I would love to see a Cameo one day of characters from Once in a Lifetime, i catch some EasterEggs and references i really loved that, Thank you for your hardwork <3
Found this game recently and man... this prob has my fav story in an nsfw game so far. Y'all are cooking with this, the character one on one sentimental scenes are so good, the story scenes are also amazing, and of course the H scene smack severely. Can't wait for chapter 6 cause that chapter 5 cliff hanger was evil (amazing).

PLEASE change the music in Nancy's scene, the reggaeton totally ruins it, it even feels out of place, it's one of the scenes we most expected and it's ruined by the music , please change it, PLEASE!!!
A scene like that deserves good music, not cheap reggaeton... Don't ruin your masterpiece like that, it doesn't even fit with the rhythm of the scene, in all the others you did it perfectly, the music on the trip with Luna was beautiful, but that specific scene is totally out of place and it's a very important scene, please I beg you as a fan of your work for a long time, change it... I'm not telling you not to use reggeaton anymore but in THAT scene use one better song PLEASE!

Doki Doki Literature Club. It's a Visual Novel game (not a porn game) that got pretty popular back in 2017 when it was released and it's my personal favorite VN of all time, tho keep in mind if you want to play it that it deals with a ton of sensitive / heavy topics like depression and s*icide, and it's also tagged as 'psychological horror'. the penelope scene where she gave up her dance for her mother at a young age honestly hit close to home having a mother who struggled so much reminded me of my own she made alot of sacrifices for my family and seeing penelope make a sacrifice for her mom even if in the big scheme of things it isn't important it was life or death to her at the time so her maturity to make what seemed to her like a big sacrifice for her mother was heartwarming
All the characters are lovable especially the best friend I'm drawing a blank on his name but he is a hilariously written characters and even though he comes off as a bit stupid he helps out the protagonist so much especially with the heist
Alex's backstory made me genuinely shed a tear the sceen with her and her grandmother was so heartwarming
There are also alot of unironic little nuggets of wisdom dropped all through the story and as someone who took a very long time to play through everything because they have a reading disability I payed very close attention because of how long I spent on the game
Luna is an amazing character she has a great dynamic with her father which caught me off gaurd the first time it happened heavily due to the use of sound design and music selection in this game being immaculate but their family is amazing and I loved every moment interacting with them
My biggest gripe is literally that there isn't more I'm currently saving up for some important things in my life so I can't support the creator sadly (I would if I could. You are doing great work bigman) but literally everything has been enjoyable there are so many references and even from the first few scenes I could tell if it keeps up this quality I want to play all the way through it the darksouls esc meme at the beginning had me rolling I was so excited because I was like oh the writer is just a dude he doesn't take everything to seriously which is a huge issue when some people writer erotica because they focus on making everything important which brings the vibe down like some people who write porn script I genuinely question if it is ai another thing I love about this is IT IS NOT ONLY PORN there is a story which some called predictable and yes there were cliche tropes but it was not predictable the spin on SAOs "you die in the game you die in real life" is really interesting it isn't just anyone can die it is more of a justice system where there are few laws but they are all punishable by death if broken (from my understanding so far) also the idea of someone who actually died being stuck in the "game" is amazing thanatos the God of the dead because that is literally what he is cathat wasn't predictable that was amazing foreshadowing of course I don't fully understand because there is still so much to be unraveled but please keep adding sweet backstories fun mysteries and little nuggets of wisdom because I am loving every GOD DAMN moment of this (you have got something bro and as an aspiring writer myself I can appreciate some raw talent I just hope eventually you can get on your feet enough to write a true novel without the need for erotica where you can focus your talents completely) good luck my friends and can't wait to play the next installment

MY THOUGHTS ON ETERNUM v.0.5 (Spoiler free)
Let's start this right because I have a lot to say about this game some bad and some good. So buckle up everyone it's about to get sexy... *clears throat* I mean bumpy.
First of all; the game is good so make no mistakes there, sure they might be some stolen ideas, sure it might have reused assets and sure the graphics isn't the best out there but all that aside this is definitely a hidden gem when it comes to porn games but I do have a few gripes with it and I will go over everything in sections down below so that people that doesn't want to read the full thing can skip to what they want to know. So, without further ado:
-STORY-
Yes we are absolutely starting with the story it's like the best thing in this game I promise to ease up on the drooling part... from both ends, and say that this is indeed something ripped from 'Sword Art Online' the anime and every other popular franchise that has this kind of premise and if it wasn't for that I am so damn intelligent, I could've enjoyed the story more than I did but sadly I know where this is headed and I knew it before it even started to take action.
So yes, the story is a bit predictable but is that necessary a bad thing though?
No, of course not, it doesn't bring it down one bit. The story has it's moments of being quirky, charming, comedic, sad and serious so it has a lot of mixed flavors.
So it captivates you in a non-aggressive way. The person is leaning you into it slowly and methodically almost invisibly and it feels natural, nothing is forced upon the player (that's a good thing) so the writer is clearly familiar with writing stories and knows what he or she is doing. Natural writing is the best kind, nothing is too excessive either which you will see in 80% of the porn games to date. Of course there is a lot of *harks* "borrowed" ideas to make some events more eventful so there's definitely humor to be had and parodies to be seen but nothing feel out of place, Hell this game made me laugh out loud on more accounts than I can remember.
-CHARACTERS-
Here is where I stop being nice. As cliche as the story might be and all of it's events it comes nowhere near close the charisma and personalities with the presented characters of the game I would go as far to say that Luna might be the only one with a hint of originality to her but even that is stretching it. As so many games before have done, it starts off all sweet and nice with lollypops and sunshine but quickly turns into every character from every porn game out there.
The main character is attractive with a gigantic cock (go figure, right...) with a nice guy attitude (someone who acts like a Romeo but has nothing other than sexual thoughts about everyone in the game, it's a bit overflowing... in more ways than one) with a positive and optimistic mind, who of which everyone adores. That's not say that there isn't anything positive to say. He has humor and some of the dialogues are really well written for him and the fact that you have choices to choose from really makes it good, I guess what I'm trying to say here is that it's a bit too easy to "woo" the girl(s). Now, don't get wrong idea here the choices you have and can do DOES MATTER to some extent but given as soon as the girl(s) sees your cock they turn into the most lewdest drooling slutty whores imaginable. I get that this is a sex game and all that but would kill to add some sort of romance into at all, instead of it just being about the cock being fucking huge? I wouldn't care if the main character had normal sized cock and the characters thought that it was big because of them being virgins or because they had been with guys with smaller or something but why is having any form of romance in a sex game so taboo? Given that it's just about the cock size and not about the person and the fact that every girl(s) turns sex-crazy is such a turn off for me. Anyways let's go over the roman- sex interests in this game:
Annie; is the adorable and shy one.
Dalia; is the sporty and competitive one.
Penelope; the I-like-it-rough and snobby one.
Nancy; the motherly and experienced one.
Nova; the intelligent and energetic one.
Alex; the emo and aggressive one.
Last but certainly not least Luna; the sad and lonely one.
Of course all of them are more or less cute and some even share some traits of being shy, Luna being my personal favorite of the bunch. But again despite have all those differences to them they are still a copy & paste - yes they all have different dialogues, yes they have different animations, yes they have their own sections in the game that makes them standout a bit but it doesn't hide the fact that it's a bit annoying for them to share so many similarities to one another especially when the cock comes out or should I say in, jeez...
-GAMEPLAY-
As you would expect it's just another visual novel with some elements of Point & Click but don't get too excited, it consists of just clicking to the next room or similar action(s). I would've loved for it to be more... engaging. With how good most of the other things are and the fact that creator is making bank on this, I would've expect a little more. Maybe in further updates more action-y things will be added.
-SEX SCENES/ANIMATIONS-
Now we come to the saucy bits and something that most people wanna know about: "hOw ArE tHe sEx sCeNes", easy the tiger let's talk about animations first. You can probably guess since I mentioned animations that it is gonna have animations in the game - and that... they do! I have to admit that they are good they even added a bit of cinematography to the game which helps its case severely BUT not everything is roses and butt-plugs because the characters themselves when speaking to them aren't animated, they are just jpegs on the screen but they do have several pictures of them that they switch between so you could say they are a bit... animated? The graphics is good not the best but good definitely a passing grade that's for sure, I'd say somewhere around 6 or 7 on the scoreboard because there are a lot of reused assets (which I can fully understand) and some jagged lines here and there nothing too bad. Now for what you have been waiting for the magical, spectacular, amazing, mind-blowing... average mediocre sex scenes - yeaaah don't get your hopes up here buddy you can find better sex scenes on Rule 34 or on Pornhub if you wanted but doesn't detract from the game at all but something that does detract from the experience is that you can't choose what to do, remember what I said about this game having Point & Click elements to it? Well, they don't have that for the sex scenes instead you have to choose which scene to play and then watch it. It's bit depressing to see so many games with the same GUI and no interactivity as to choose: what you want to do with the girl, control the speed, changing camera angle, zoom-in/out etc. etc. giving the player a choice instead of turning the main character constantly to a bitch-boy, who gets constantly ordered around as long as he can get laid and that we get to see it in full glory.
YOU MUST COMPLY. How about fuck off.
-MUSIC/SFX-
Ah yes the music, it's not music to my ears. Since music is subjective and depends solely on whether people like that type of genre, I can't really say much about it other than it certainly doesn't resonate with me at all, so I did what a sane person would do and turned it off. SFX or sound effects if you don't speak game is basically nonexistent there are a few of them here and there but nothing good. Then we have that ear piercing fucking sound effect that the creator is using WAY TOO FUCKING OFTEN and doesn't realize that it's actually a damaging tone to the ear and NO I'm not kidding. That sound can quite literally give you tinnitus or worse shatter (damage) your eardrum and I wish that they would remove it from the game before a lawsuit happens.
-FINAL THOUGHTS-
This game is a hidden gem that isn't a lie - the story is rich and deep, the dialogues well-crafted for the most part, some good animations and it has some uniqueness to it especially with the humor. The only downsides are the horrible character copy & paste sex freaks, the lack of GUI options for the sex scenes and that the game doesn't have much in the way of action-y stuff. Now I know there is only so much one can do and yes I know that this is a Visual Novel but it leaves me wanting more from it and not just be like the rest which there are plenty of already.

Gonna have to say,i respect your opinion,but I strongly disagree.
For your "complaint" about the story being unoriginal. Hate to break to you,but pretty much every story in human existence is in essence,unoriginal.Even the most iconic pieces of modern media(Like Lord of the Rings) had their inspiration from somewhere. I don't understand how that can be a point against the game in itself. Yes,the idea of virtual world is not new,but execution of an idea is what's more important. And I would say that Cari does a good job of that.
Not just how the base premise allows for a variety of story genres to to be in one VN,without it feeling jarring,he also does enough to expand on the consequences, good and bad of Eternum existing. Like how because of the in game currency having RL monetary value, some people actually made their living in the game. Which helps in worldbuilding and making it feel lived in. Or how like in any social game,there are assholes doing screwed up shit.
For gameplay...really? Saying that there's little to no gameplay in an adult visual NOVEL. The whole point of a VN is to experience it for the story and dialogue. I don't know if you're just trying to note it for the review(even then it still feels kind of pointless to mention that) or if you really expected to go in having this be gameplay-heavy. If it's the latter then that's on you for expecting the game to be something it's not when Cari clearly labels the game. Cari knows what his focus should be on and any tiny bit of mechanics are there to serve the story and atmosphere,which works out great especially in the horror focused sections. Any fleshed out mechanics would not serve the story Cari's telling and just take away time and attention. And the choices to me have the right amount of agency. Not too cryptic that you have to depend on a guide to get through(although that first Alex choice is an exception),but inuitive enough that if you pay attention to the character's personalities it's pretty easy to pick the right choices. And wanting the girls to be harder to woo..can't say anything against that,but I also don't agree with that.
And for the characters being "copy-paste" and "sex-crazed". I really can't agree with you here. Out of all of the sections,this is the one that felt the most disingenuous and overblown. Putting aside the fact that this is at the end of the day a porn game,one with way more plot than porn,but still a porn game,so dinging it for having some "porn logic" is really?
Having "unoriginal" characters is not,IMO a valid criticism.I can just put my same thoughts about that from the story section. Yeah, the basic archetypes are nothing new for AVN or general stories,but Cari's writing does a good job of fleshing them out beyond that,especially in the emotional scenes to make them feel believable. And speaking of that,I also think Cari for the most part does a good job of not only properly pacing the sexy scenes to their relationship growth with Orion,but having good in-character reasons for why they chose to do it. Nancy goes faster than the other girls,but that makes sense because of her bolder personality and how repressed she is than either Alex or Luna who took longer to get their first sexy scene. And the times they don't are more the execption than the rule like you seem to think it is.
And feel like the only one that maybe fits that description is Dalia as I'm not a fan of how you start her path and later on with the bet,but that's more due to the timing,but other than those,her path is fine. I don't know how,when you talked about the different dialogue,animations,and the focus scenes for each girl,you still came to the conclusion that,nah, they're just copy-pasted sex dolls of each other,which made me roll my eyes. Apparently I didn't play the same game you did.
So yeah,I think this is overblown.As for Orion while his basic personality traits are typical of the AVN MC,Cari's writing makes Orion feel a lot more genuine and fleshed out. Orion may not be Cam (TFTUV) in terms of a defined personality with flaws and arc,but he still has enough character that I want to root for him.
You review starts off alright,but towards the end in the character section,it's goes straight into pure nitpicking for stuff you personally dislike and not objectively rating the game for the stuff it's trying to do. If you want to convince people your review is constructive criticism,maybe next time don't word it in a passive-aggressive way and blame others for not liking that.

I have to make big complaint about this game!
I signed up for a silly nsfw game for my degenerate ass that wouldn't make much sense beyond enough to make H-scenes happen. What I got is one of the best visual novels I've ever played (and I haven't even finished 0.5 just yet) that made me emotionally involved with characters and many times hit me right into feels. It also unironicaly made me thinking about changing my lifestyle a bit, maybe even going to gym! Me! A GYM! Totally not what I expected and wanted! 1/10
But now for real, it's beyond me what gems of a games I manage to find on this site, you Sir definitely have talent. Each girl has very well written personality and something memorable which makes me very conflicted on who I should focus my attention (though we all know the best waifu is Chang 😆). It's also the first time I see so much replayability possibilities in this kind of game, and since I bet (or hope at least) the relations with one girl will influence others (eventually it already happened and I didn't spotted it since it's my first playthrough), it will make it even greater.
H-scenes and humor are also very well balanced, so far I didn't have any feeling that joke was bad or unneeded. I also didn't feel even ONCE that I was wasting my time, which is hard as hell to achieve (speaking from my overall gaming experience). You're aiming more for relations between characters and then go for hots instead of just dropping as much fanservise (tho I'm happy you found a way to implement it too, just in healthy amount) and then write the story around that. I respect that, especially since you're that good at it (at first I was disappointed that there was so little scenes in gallery, then a couple hours later I was surprised I didn't managed to unlock even half of it, and then, when I took a better grasp of what this game really is, I came to conclusion that goods like that should be dosed lmao).
Another great thing are graphics. I've NEVER seen VN with 3D graphics looking that good. Usually models I've seen were so bad that I used to pick VNs with hand drawn graphics only. And you made it look good enough to make me download it and then kept this level through my entire gameplay (I was fully expecting there will be downgrade after a while and oh boy how wrong I was 😆). That makes me wonder: how many people are working to make this game? 'Cause I will be hella surprised and impressed if all of this, both graphics and writing, is work of one person (even considering how long we have to wait for each update).
To sum it up, I'm really glad I found this game, and will throw few bucks on Patreon after I finish 0.5 (btw, I have no idea how far I am from finishing it, so out of pure curiousity: is the beginning of "heist arc" close to end of 0.5 or I still have much to play?). I love what you did and, as one Senate once said, I will watch your career with great interest 😁

I Can't express how much i enjoyed Once in a life time,and Eternum is in many ways better, because Caribdis grew as an AVN Dev, I only miss the diferents points of views in the scenes especially the POV, but you can tell the Upgrade of the work and detail to every Picture, Chang made laugh the same way as the Jail partner in your First game , hope the best for this project and for you, I would love to see a Cameo one day of characters from Once in a Lifetime, i catch some EasterEggs and references i really loved that, Thank you for your hardwork <3

Don't ruin your masterpiece like that, it doesn't even fit with the rhythm of the scene, in all the others you did it perfectly, the music on the trip with Luna was beautiful, but that specific scene is totally out of place and it's a very important scene, please I beg you as a fan of your work for a long time, change it... I'm not telling you not to use reggeaton anymore but in THAT scene use one better song PLEASE!
