Just finished the new update, and it was the most ambitious one yet. Absolutely loved it.. Cant wait for 0.6. You always leave it on the best cliffhangers.
Absolutely amazing game and story. The renders are unreal and i dont ever wanna stop playing even just for the comedy and story. The lie detector scene had me cry laughing
Sorry to be asking this dumbly but I played this now it's my first time downloading it by a new version should I just download the update or is there something I should do first. (Sorry again for inconvenience)
Top tier game with astonishing art and background, all the girls and the side characters are perfect, haven't finished the story yet but I already know that it was going to be great also love the mix of some horror aspect and comedy. Although I'm wondering if the outcome of some choices will always lead to the same result and also this girl looks like Tokoyami Towa.
Here I am again. I think this is genuinely my 7th or so entire playthrough of the game (for some reason I restart my save every update, idk why but I love this game too much to just pick up where I left off, I have to experience it in its entirety). After sitting down for a solid 12 hours, I completed Eternum 0.5 in its entirety. I'm sure I've said it before in whatever comments I've left that I can't find, but this game is nothing short of incredible. The story is actually relatively believable all things considered, and it feels like your character is a part of the world instead of the world revolving around your character, which helps immensely with inserting yourself into it. The girls are perfect, the renders are incredible, the jokes hit every single time. I've yet to find a developer who can match the level of Caribdis, the 2 best AVN's I've played are both of Caribdis' games. I can't wait to see what you do with this in the future, and thank-you for letting us all be a part of it. I can't even remember how long I've been playing at this point, but I think I joined the journey around 0.2.
I can't honestly answer that yet, I chose to take it but I'm unsure of whether it was the right decision or not. I just made a save file there and labelled it 'IMPORTANT' in case I made the wrong decision lol
The game is amazing and Nova is my fav character but i keep on dying on the space part even after buying the pendant and playing the whole game again in order to survive that part
I would like to pass the game without dying so any help or tip would be welcomed
One of the best if not the best game in this area. It has an interesting plot, well developed characters (top 1 girl = Luna), and great 18+ scenes. I also went through this author's game Once in a Lifetime, and in comparison between them, you can see how much the quality has increased, although the last game was not bad. I am very grateful to the author for this masterpiece. I look forward to continuing. THANK YOU
The game is amazing so far, I can't stop playing it!! I just completed Once in a LifeTime and I cracked up when they mentioned Eternum close to the end of the game. I need MOAR!!!! I am still new to these visual novel games, so if there is a new update, how do I transfer my data over when I download the next version
0.5 was amazing dev, just as expected 👍. Can't wait for 0.6.
The effort you have put on the game is mind-blowing. I've been playing visual novel for more than 2 years, but this game is just hands down my one of the best.
I can't even begin to describe just how AMAZING this game is, I've barely even began playing 0.5 and I'm already having a blast, being a Mexican myself, the reference to Día de Muertos and Luna's family being well and truly Mexican brings me so much joy. The only downside of this game in my opinion is that you know that you could go sleepless finishing a chapter and stopping yourself to saviour the experience is so hard because it's so captivating. Cari, you're a legend!!! If i had the money to do a multi million dollar game, i would be more than happy to invite you to take this game to full potential. Keep it up!!!
Damm if I were to describe the game in a few words, is a totally unique expereince, this and the other updates always brings really good things no matter what, I would say that we really appreciate your work and I´ll hope that you can get as benefit as you can from it.
Also Luna is God tier, seeing her with her mexican family is just way too good, Pancho is a great figure, gracias por una gran representación mexicana muy chingona, es increible la verdad.
I just wanted to say Thank you for continuing to update this game. Chang makes me laugh everytime, I love all the characters but the humor in the game is what really makes it for me.
Well done! Caribdis you're the best! I mean even if Eternum just normal VN and not AVN I'll keep playing it. Because the story it's wholesome, i really like the idea in this update when we can more focused on the real world of the characters.
I guess i really want to see the ending of Eternum, but also don't want to see the ending soon though 😂 just keep your time.
And there's still many mystery, the story of her mom about Thanatos is blowing my mind 😵 that's give some crazy theories. He's died in real world but still alive in Eternum, and his word "Eternum better than any other reality" have some clue. As you told me on a couple update ago that you use some serial/movie as reference, i think I know the truth of Thanatos. It's same as Kayaba Akihiko from SAO. Okay I'm not going to speak anymore 😂 let the theories going wild.
I'm looking forward for the next update already! Thanks for created this masterpiece.
Last one, Luna is best girl but Alex still numero uno!! 🤩
As Eternum grows and progresses, the file will eventually become too large to use in .apk format, the best way around this is to Joiplay, an emulator service. In order to use Joiplay, you must download the PC version instead of the Android version.
What you'll need:
1. The newest Joiplay update
2. The newest RenPy plugin
3. A file managing app (I recommend File Manager +)
3. The PC version of Eternum
Here's how to do it:
1. Go to the Joiplay Patreon and find the most recent public release on their page, *you must download both Joiplay and the RenPy plugin.* *Do not use the version found on the app store, it is outdated and you will get bugs.*
2. Once you have downloaded both files, install Joiplay and open the app. In the lower right corner there will be a + icon, press it and select "install package." Find your RenPy plugin in your files and import it. This may no longer be necessary, it was when I downloaded it but I've been using it for some time and can't remember the exact details. If you can't find the file, simply try opening the RenPy APK file. One of those methods should work.
3. That done, use your file manager to unzip Eternum. Try not to bury your game files too deep, I've noticed strange bugs if the file path is too long.
4. Return to Joiplay and press the + again, and press "add game"
Enter the game's name and version number when it asks (doesn't necessarily need to be correct) and then press "choose."
Find the EXE file and import it. It will ask for an icon, add one if you wish but it isn't needed.
That should be all you need to get your game up and running, if you encounter animations ending prematurely you can try enabling "HW Video" and "Model Based Rendering" and disabling "Less Updates" all of which are found in the RenPy section of settings. Ultimately, the performance of the game will only be as good as your hardware allows
I would very much prefer a split APK over Joiplay.
For one, the PC version of VNs is way to big to keep on an android's storage. Then, you have the issue with PC-sized GUI on a touchscreen. Most importantly, the APK just works. Joiplay is the wonkiest crap I've ever used on an android.
I hope you're not thinking about crippling your masterpiece of a game by making it reliant on a trashy emulator.
That means that every update will be more compressed than the last one. I'll keep releasing Android builds, but the quality will be terrible by the time the game ends, just keep it in mind.
I said split APK, not compressed. Essentially, that's two APKs with half the content in each. There's no rule saying that you have to squeeze everything into one APK, especially if you do so by reducing the quality.
Look at Tales From the Unending Void, for example, or Sinful Life.
Naturally, there are even better methods to bypass the 2GB limit, like additional resource files. It's not unusual for an install to be only a few hundred MB, but then fetch up to several GB of assets. Of course, that would require a fair amount of extra effort to learn and implement, and I don't want to ask too much. Thus, my suggestion of a split APK.
damn this is a really amazing game i could even say this was worth a few movies like when the creator reveals himself could be like the after creditsscene or somrthing its more of a visual novel with a great story rather than a porn game
It's so lovely to the part that they are celebrating the day of the dead, but it gets me wonder why there's have a Luna Scene that part, i think it's better to keep Luna innocent, you know Luna is not that type of, i just think that it needs more time to get her very well and more.
In Nova's scene, does she have different dialogue based on how you had sex with Maat in the temple? For example, she said Maat was pinned to the ground, but I somehow vaguely remember initially choosing to pin her against the wall?
Hey Caribdis i just finish the game's last uptade, thank you so much for your effort. This game is a real masterpiece, i can't wait for the 0.6, and again, i hope we can see more of Nova scenes in version 0.6. Love you Caribdis <3
Can i ask Caribdis, on average, how many days does it take you to finish one update? Because i compared the public release of the old updates to the newer updates and it takes about 100+ days to realease a public update tho.

I just downloaded in browser and copied files to eternum folder where I have itch.io stored. Worked a charm. Seems the new update is half a gig too large for itch, so gotta get the ol jar o elbow grease out...

Happy to hear that :D
Absolutely amazing game and story. The renders are unreal and i dont ever wanna stop playing even just for the comedy and story. The lie detector scene had me cry laughing
Thank you :)
Sorry to be asking this dumbly but I played this now it's my first time downloading it by a new version should I just download the update or is there something I should do first. (Sorry again for inconvenience)
You can just download the update and run it,
and delete the old version.
Saves are saved outside the downloaded folder, so you don't have to worry about porting over saves to the new version.
Ach so, Danke
Thank you

is it better to take the amulet or it does not matter?
I can't honestly answer that yet, I chose to take it but I'm unsure of whether it was the right decision or not. I just made a save file there and labelled it 'IMPORTANT' in case I made the wrong decision lol
oh good i did that too. I do the same at every critical decision lol
Thank you, Secure <3
Updates are good as always, the wait was more then worth it.
The game is amazing and Nova is my fav character but i keep on dying on the space part even after buying the pendant and playing the whole game again in order to survive that part
I would like to pass the game without dying so any help or tip would be welcomed
There is a walkthrough available
I followed the walkthrough and bought the pendant, still died on the ship for some reason

What 3D software do you use Caribdis. I want to make a fan art
HoneySelect2
gotta say Luna is definitely the best girl. everything is on point.
ahh, a fellow person of culture!
I noticed you hit 4,500 patreons! Congrats! Does this mean you are getting more help on the game, and hopefully faster updates?? ;)
Already got it, maybe not faster, but hopefully better
I was just wondering if there is a reason for not letting the download go trough itch itself, but doing it trough mediafire and such.
Yes, itch has a 4GB limit, and the game went past that already
oh i didnt know that, thanks
I just needed to say... CHANG RULES!
It's so lovely to the part that they are celebrating the day of the dead, but it gets me wonder why there's have a Luna Scene that part, i think it's better to keep Luna innocent, you know Luna is not that type of, i just think that it needs more time to get her very well and more.
Hey, how u created all these great animations?! What were u using?

The update was more than amazing.
I was wondering, and maybe slight SPOILER ahead,
Spoiler below
In Nova's scene, does she have different dialogue based on how you had sex with Maat in the temple? For example, she said Maat was pinned to the ground, but I somehow vaguely remember initially choosing to pin her against the wall?
Thanks, great update as always!
Thank you!
Yeah, the dialogue changes depending on your choice in that scene
Hey Caribdis i just finish the game's last uptade, thank you so much for your effort. This game is a real masterpiece, i can't wait for the 0.6, and again, i hope we can see more of Nova scenes in version 0.6. Love you Caribdis <3
Thank you very much!
NOOOOOOOOOO the new update is through 3rd party which you have to pay for >:(
There are Mediafire and Drive options too man.
Can i ask Caribdis, on average, how many days does it take you to finish one update? Because i compared the public release of the old updates to the newer updates and it takes about 100+ days to realease a public update tho.
Several months of work
How to join he discord tho, can someone give me a link?
NOOOOOOO my Stargate Wormholes are gone...
May I know what is the name of the Spanish song at the end of the update as in the scene with Nancy?
Besame, Lu-Ni

Just finished 0.4 and came back to see 0.5 😩
is there a way to download the new update directly on the itch.io app?
I just downloaded in browser and copied files to eternum folder where I have itch.io stored. Worked a charm. Seems the new update is half a gig too large for itch, so gotta get the ol jar o elbow grease out...
that's what i did but itch still tells me to update.
Yup, thinking that's going to be a tad annoying, but just start the game - it works 👍😊
