Eternum

After Once in a Lifetime I thought it would be pretty hard to surpass that level of perfection with a free visual novel and with eternum you managed to do just that, the story is just as immersive and the visuals are even better.

Only suggestion for future creations I have is to give the player a choise between multiple MC models, I get that you would probably need to have a lot more funding to be able to pull something like that off since all scenes which include the MC model must be rendered multiple times to make this possible but I still think it would make the games way more immersive.

I myself for example think the MC in eternum looks a little too childish and immature to really immerse and define with the main character and for others this may be other details like for example hair color.

Other feedback would include that in early version walkthroughs it would be nice if you could add a little more details around choises that currently have no effect but might have an effect on later versions or at least mention the best choise already.

The game's a bomb! Just can't get enough of that story. The animation and visual are some of the best I've seen. There's just sooo much potential to it. Keep up the good work!!

Just finished Once in a Lifetime, I wish I would've played it first. It's obviously a downgrade, Caribdis was improving his skills both 3d and with Ren'Py. I suggest any new player to start with OiaL before moving to this one.

Hi, I registered to itchio after years of playing visual novels and only reason I did that is this game. I'm sure this game could be at the top of steam or something one day when it's complete. I played thousands of games, top rated to totally unknown, online, co-op or single player. Place of Eternum in my list will be in top 3. In my opinion Eternum is like Cyberpunk 2077 of visual novels, it has greatest potential among all but not complete at all. Contains unmeasurable space to be filled with. Which is actually best kind of success, creating potential power and pushing limits for all.

Thanks for great game Caribdis. I'll wait for it even if it takes decade, just like I waited Bleach anime to continue, like 11 years? Well I hope not that long..  ^^

It's honestly ridiculous how good this game is. The visuals are spectacular, the writing far exceeds all expectations, and the raw creativity on display should make AAA gaming developers jealous. I was sad to make it to the cliffhanger, but that's only because I'm having so much fun in Eternum. 

You deserve all the success this game's generating, Caribdis. Keep up the phenomenal work. Can't wait to see what's next. 

PS Once in a Lifetime is also terrific. 

Honestly the best game i've played on here by far. Came for the scenes, hooked by the story! Also the early game reference had me in tears!

The sex cutscene is lagging...can you fix that? And the heart info too... it's shows error when I'm trying to see the girl's heart progress

Caribdis I have an issue with this game, the heart thingy at the top left doesn't work right, whenever I tap a heroin's pic all it'll say was "An unexpected error occurred" so can I ask what was the problem? Was it my download or the game it self?

Damn Bruh, I cant believe this is even better than Once in a lifetime! Game is fantastic, characters are well written, and most important They are believable.That game has more personality than most of the AAA and im not even joking. You are leaving part of Your soul in this games and I love You for that.

Holy cow. I found Once In A Lifetime a while ago and laughed, cried, had some private time... I thought a game shouldn't be able to do that to you. And I definitely thought it wouldn't happen twice, let alone by the same creator.

Caribdis, you are incredibly talented, and you've been able to weave many hilarious and immensely enjoyable situations in both games.

I cannot wait to see the rest of Eternum!! 

this is the first one of these games that hooked me in because of the story. the h-scenes are simply a biproduct that also happens to be of higher quality than anything ive seen with unity so far. im excited for 0.5.

Man i now played the newest Version 0.4, too .... YOU ARE CRAZY!!!I love the story and hate the cliffhanger.  I want to know what happens next!!! ;)

I laughed, was tense and some scenes were simply OP. Because of that and also because of the super story and implementation it already won a place in my heart, so I will never forget it.

I don't regret my biggest donation to date for a "pay what you want" game at all (it was just 25€, but that's a lot by my standards) and I think it's more than appropriate. I would feel bad just experiencing this for free.

And if you keep delivering good updates like this and because your game has now entertained me several times for several hours very well, I'll top that old donation with a new one, because it's worth it.

So thank you for this already great experience :)

Don't even know how I end up playing adult games and only made account here to say few things:

1) Mr.Caribdis - you are a fucking genius!!! Dude, you deserve Nobel prize for these 2 novels. I couldn't stop playing these 2 games and I enjoyed every second.

2) Graphics - 10/10, Storylines - 10/10, Girls - 10/10 and music...oh bro...i see you are a man of culture...If you can only tell me name of 1st song in Eternum...I would be very greatful to you Sir.

3) For me, one and only thing missing in games is - sex scenes. In the end of the day, it's a sex game, so more action with more girls would be amazing. Otherwise, everything else is amazing...really amazing.

Caribdis I'm not gonna lie to you, I rarely give reviews for anything with any volume of content and I haven't even played this game yet and I already know its amazing just from playing Once in a lifetime. That game was more beautifully done for everything it offered from emotional value, to plot and the scenes. I enjoyed it so much that I just stayed listening to the song at the end and I kid you not the smile on me just from seeing Mike at the end hurt my entire face. 

Thank you for putting time and effort into your work, you're genuinely the first person I've came across to do something amazing and I cannot wait for your future work, thank you.

Hello, i just had to create an account to give you some more then well earned feedback. This is game is really something. The characters are interesting and you can easily get attached, or even relate to some. Especially Alexandras flashback was breathtakingly captivating, the urge to prove something to her for her was almost painful for a second after her childhood memories.

I also like how you break the tension and change pace by sometimes just diving into some minor absurdities or putting in some hilarious jokes (same is with Once in a Lifetime btw). You should really consider making "the vendor" a running gag for future games, if you ask me. There are also some things that are just a matter of taste that hit the spot for me. Your use of blushing, although some might consider it too frequent, is great. The best for last, your dialogues, as a writer myself i can tell good dialogues from not so good ones. You really get close to believable conversations without even coming close to going over the top in order to justify the (inevitable) H-content. It builds up to rewarding pay-offs (not only in a erotic way) and increases immersion so much. The general vibe of the girls actually really pushing it sometimes more then the MC is great, it offsets the uneasy feeling of exploitation that sometimes occures in other games (which is also fine if you like it and the game is built around that, like the headmaster for example). You make it feel like a mutual win, a more mature style of relationships even. (Not completely realistic of course, but hey, it is still escapism isn't it)

Now i wanted to add some criticism, as in suggestions you might think about or even experiment with. Considering the models, maybe you could also expand your repertoire with some slightly less voloptous girls ? I am definetely the target audience for that and i guess many others would not mind too (Dalia would have been a great opportunity to add that for example). In general i really am glad that you planned this game out to be more of a harem style. As someone with excellent memory it was always a turnoff for me having to make several playthroughs to see all the content or at least the vast majority of it. To be honest i always considered branching storylines that shut off certain girls just to be a lazy way of artificially blowing up the overall playtime, at least in the games of other creators.

It was also a very good idea to have a something more explicit added not far from the start in this game. I think this was a very good decision and you should seriously consider to do more of that. Maybe just sprinkle that in a bit more every once in a while, as long it does not break your great storytelling of course.

I hope you do not feel like i was trespassing with these suggestions, just some ideas that might help developing your incredible skills even further, maybe.

All in all, i am huge fan of your work now that i played both games i know of and really looking forward to see more of your work !

This game is too good, I can't stop playing it, Can't wait for the new update. Some part are really funny, a gym guy who keep speaking Russian, Chang always appear out of nowhere, dark souls reference and many. Keep up the good work! Luna my favorite girl :D

I first want to give you all my praise for this game. The story has had me gripped, the characters are all great and lovable, and the modeling looks fantastic.  

Only thing I've noticed that's been an issue has been that performance can get really laggy during the animations, especially if the camera is also panning. I'm playing on the android version and I wanted to ask if there was a way for me to optimize the performance in the preferences menu. 

The game has been fantastic so far and I was hoping to enjoy it even more after working around my technical issues. Thank you so much for the work you've put into this game and are still putting into it.
